Summary: This game is a waste of money. On the snap there is a bug or a cheat-like motion that freezes up the front line making it a waltz in the park to rush right past the line of scrimmage while the defensive line is frozen. Takes the fun out of the game.
Summary: Great Game. To start off, The all-new playmaker controlls and owner mode are awesome. In owner mode ,you can set food prices, build a new stadium, buy massage chairs for your whole stadium, even re-locate your franchise to a whole new city! With playmaker you can make pre-snap adjusdment to your play on both offense and defense, change your recievers route during the play, and even tell your blockers where to go on a run play or after you caught a pass!
Summary: The next Instalment in the Madden series is here with Madden 2004. But what new features are added to make us pay out our hard earned money? New Playmaker Control: Make pre-snap adjustments to your receiver routes, direct receiver routes during a scramble, direct blocking down field during a run, or read and react to the offense to deliver a crushing tackle.
Summary: Madden 2004 is a solid game. The new features - owner mode, playmaker etc. are a bit overrated (especially create-a-stadium) but they are cool. The graphics are really good, better then last year, and the gameplay is good. The thing that pisses me off, as many others have said, is the AI. Just 10 minutes ago i was playing a game in my franchise. I was the eagles and it was against the giants.
Summary: I have bought all the madden FB games ever made & the last 2 have been the worst ever in fun & play ability. Great graphics but that's it. I can,t believe the programming is so pour & aggravating. I don,t know anyone who enjoys being cheated & B.S.ed every time you get ahead, its like the cpu knows your every move & burns you with totally ridicules plays.Or your players will automatically fumble with 100% full strength,or a penalty,or pick with the Wr wide open. You can...
Summary: Electronic Arts stepped it up after last years near fumble. while madden 2003 was a good game its sequal/offspring is nothing short of stupendous. The new options (the key ones) playmaker and ownermode add so much more to the game. playmaker allows the player to create plays that never would of existed in the previous maddens. for example i was playing as the Rams (my boys) and did a screen pass to Marshal Faulk.
Summary: Sega/ESPN vs. EA/Madden, the ultimate debate. Madden's got better graphics, better extras, and better stats. Not to mention you can build your own stadium and even set the price the fans pay for a burger. As a guy who bought his first EA game in 1990, it actually pains me to say it but, ESPN is just the better game. Why? If only EA had spent as much time on the game play as it did at the concession stand.
Summary: This game is a blast, mostly because of the great realism and depth, not to mention the tons of game modes. The new owner mode is fun and actually impacts your franchise's success (no money, no free agents...). The graphics are great and the new tackling animation are for the most part pretty good. HOWEVER there are some problems with this game; some can be fixed by adjusting the A.I. sliders, some can't: 1. Secondary/DB AI.
Summary: Madden 2004 is awesome. If u liked NCAA fottball 2004 youll like Madden. It has a ton of features to keep u glued to the screen. Owner mode is great. U can make the prices of tickets, the concession stands, parking and build a stadium. U can go though train camp, and actually do it not just watch the computer do it for u. Creating a player and team is awesome. And U can even create your own playbook. The game itself is amazing.
