Summary: Madden NFL 2003: Are you ready? I know, I know Madden NFL 2003 sounds a bit boring right. Wrong it's an awesome action packed, fun video game for the Playstation2 consol. This is the ultimate football video game, it has awesome graphics, and sometimes you might even forget it's a video game. This is an E for everyone video game with a price of only $19.99. You have a lot of choices from pro NFL teams to pro NFL football stars.
Summary: This game is the greatest! It's super fun! It has great replay value. there are a whole bunch of game modes. When you play a game you earn tokens to unlock cards. You can even unlock Barry Sanders, and a whole bunch of really good players! You need to buy this game it is really great!!!!!
Summary: I'm not happy in this year's efforts. I think that Madden 2003 is a game with great graphics. But I don't think that the "play by play" calling is as good as it is in NCAA 2003. Al Michaels and John Madden combined for a great team, but they need to let John and Al speak for them self, not have scrip's and just let them self-go. The worst part of the game is the defensive I find it extremely hard to play defensive in the game.
Summary: Well I finally had a chance to have some good playtime with Madden 2003. The thing I immediatly noticed once I got into my game is that the stadiums are much improved in this years game. The crowd stands up during the intros and during dramatic times during the game- Everything feels more alive on the whole. The player introductions are awesome...You just gotta see them. (The home team's defense will get in a little huddle and the team leader will pump them up.
Summary: While Madden 03 clearly is still the best football game on the market, it is not that much better than 02. The functions like the draft, and the player progression got a little better, but not much else. This game still is great, but not revolutionary. One thing I did notice playing this game was that you could actually run up the middle and not have to be using Marshall Faulk as your running back.
Summary: Overall, I would say Madden 2003 is a slight improvement over the 2002 version. One big plus is the Instant Replay challenges...in the 2002 version the wrong part of the play was often viewed, in 2003 everyone so far has been right on. When playing the computer, running the ball is tough...you usually only get 2 to 3 yards per carry. Sacking the Quarterback is a rarity..but interceptions occur more than in 2002.
Summary: This game rocks on all levels except for 1 thing: face graphics. It offers more faces, but they aren't as defined and bold as Madden '02. The mini camp is fun and the online options are good. two things I'm glad to see are the ability to export franchise rosters and up to date equipment. this game is a must for football and EA lovers.
Summary: I have played 2002 and now am suing franchise mode in 2003. first of all this game is harder. secondly, if yuou adjust the game for AI control you can actually make it competitive. if you don't adjust AI on All Madden be prepared for Jay Fiedler shredding your dime packages apart. What I did was leave the CPU settings the same and adjusted Human to be better than avarage. this way you don't drop easy passes and you actually have a chance.
Summary: What's not to like about Madden? Well I feel that there are still flaws in the gameplay that have been around for the last 2 years that haven't been fixed. 1) Fieldgoals and punts by computer. The computer is money all the time. 58 field goal in a blizzard with a 15 mph cross wind? No problem. The football doesn't just creep over the bar either , it clears by 20 yards! I swear the computer could hit a 70 yarder. This is unrealistic. 2) Blocking punts or field goals.
Summary: Madden 2003 has hit the stores and I have to say that this year Madden will be the cream of the crop. I have played '03 and I am impressed by the great improvements in the AI and computer teams. Never again will I have a 16-0 season in the franchise more. The biggest and best change in this game has to be the addition of the preseason in Franchise mode. I love the fact that you can play your rookie to see who's scouting report was good and who was slightly off.
