Summary: If you wanna play a football game online, don't play this cause' its not online anymore. It was only online for one year. That is a rip-off,dontcha think?Well,Madden 2004 is online...For now...But in August 2004,that too will be offline. So if you want a online football game that won't last online for only a year, check out NFL 2K3 or ESPN NFL Football.
Summary: I have to give this title at least 3 stars just because I have so much fun playing it. There are, however major errors in the running/passing games. #1 is the running game. I was dissapointed that I could hold Marshall Faulk (the best RB in this edition of Madden) to 9 yards on 23 carries, while I was able to gain 167 yards on 18 carries with William Green, in other words, the running game for the player is incredibly easy, while the CPU's running game is exceptionally...
Summary: Okay, there are two camps of people out there. The increasingly growing number of people who love Madden and hate the NFL 2K series, and the increasingly shrinking number of people who love the NFL 2K series, but hate Madden. I can say I belong to neither. I loved Madden '97 for the PC, but Madden 2001 for the PC was beyond terrible. I really enjoyed NFL 2K and 2K1, but NFL 2K3 has got to be of one the worst sequels of all time - up there with the Attack of the Clones.
Summary: Madden 2003 is a good game but has some important features one should be aware about before purchasing. 1) Coaching Challenges: sometime they work, sometimes they don't. Sometimes they let rulings stand that shouldn't and overturn good calls. However, challenges make this game more exciting than it used to be prior to this release.
Summary: For several years now, EA Sports' Madden franchise has been setting the standard for football video games. This latest installment, Madden NFL 2003, pretty much remains true to the Madden formula. Graphically, this game is extremely impressive with excellent player animations and sharp visuals. The game is also quite good from a gameplay standpoint with great player reactions and real-life plays to choose from.
Summary: EA Sports really had it together with Madden 2002. The only problem I saw was you could not run between the tackles. With Madden 2003, it doesnt matter what defensive coverage your're in, your opponent can still complete Deep passes, underneath passes with two and three defenders on them. This is ridiculous. In Madden 2002 your opponent had to know his/her playbook and they also had to know the defensive coverages in order to win games.
Summary: I purchased this game yesterday and after playing it I didn't notice anything different from last year's version, it plays the same. Other than updated rosters, the realigned divisons, a few touched up uniforms like The Redskins and Seahawks have now and the newer stadiums like in New England and Pittsburgh. Call me crazy, but I was sort of disappointed that the new Seahawks Stadium wasn't added! it looks like the one from last year.
Summary: When I first got NFL 2003 i was wondering if I would ever get the hang of it but with the help in the game it was simple and very soon i knew exactly what to do. I started a franchise and i absolutely loved it but then it started to get to easy. So I Changed the difficulty and i still cannot get the right balance between to easy and to hard. Also the limited plays in the playbook may make it seem very repetetive very quickly.
