Summary: The game was almost flawless on the last gen version of the game, but it was absolutely butchered on next-gen. The graphics are the only thing improved from the transition. The franchise mode went down a peg, the on-field action is worse, it's just not good.
Summary: 3 might be a little high...but I have respected the madden line for years.Horrible announcing, even worse franchise mode (no fantasy draft...who's decision was it to leave that out...they should fire them right now), terrible controls.
Summary: This is the first Madden game I have purchased. I have heard a lot of hype about how great this game is and I finally decided to give it a try. Well, after playing this game, it is hype & that's it. This game is an average football game at best.
Summary: This game feels really rushed and not very fun. Playing defense is a chore ... throwing the ball is a coin flip ... and running up the middle is impossible. Graphically it's better than the PS2, but by no means impressive. The franchise mode has no ambiance or feel that you're in control of a team.
Summary: After playing this game online for several weeks I haved noticed that the same flaws as in all previous verisons remain. Playaction passes don't work as your QB is hit instantly and cannot take one step.
Summary: I'm well aware this review won't be popular with most committed fans, but I'll post it anyway. 2 years later, and I still prefer 2k5 to my newer Madden game. I used to love Madden back on the Genesis and SNES, it was revolutionary at the time and a complete blast to play, a quantum leap forward from...
Summary: EA is simply not even trying to give us a good game, because of their monopoly and the absence of 2k. Initially I was excited that EA and ESPN were colaberating to give us the ultimate football game - now I am just pissed off.
Summary: Good game but I guess I expected more. Do not really play any other mode exept exhibition and the gameplay is slow. The players move fast but react very slow when you control the player. My opinion I hooked up the PS2 and played Madden and its better than the X-box version.
Summary: I find this game to be very indepth when it comes to the ability to change formations and plays just by what you see. However, my major disappointment comes from the graphics. I understand the ps2 doesn't not have the standards of the XBox360, but this was false advertising showing this very...
Summary: I got 2007 this past Saturday. After I put the game in, I noticed that there is hardly any change at all from last year's game graphic wise, features, rosters, still no player introductions for the starters, no pre-game report on any players or the teams, come on the game needs some improvements!
