Summary: Madden once again doesn't dissapoint, this maybe an older game but it's still a fun game and one of the best from the franchise in my opinion. While the graphics may not be as good as the next gen models, it's still very playable and very realistic. I enjoy this game and it was at a great price! Well worth the money!
Summary: I'm not a big football fan, but I saw this at a local thrift store for only $2.50 and I had to buy it. The game has great graphics and you can play preseason and season games. You can even choose which team you want to be. I picked the Kansas City Chiefs as that is only way they are ever going to win a season.
Summary: Madden 2006 Review I've purchase Madden ever single year for the last 7 years with out any disappointment. I had really high hopes for Madden 2006 when I was reading all the previews for the game. My expectations were exceeded when I actually purchase and played the newest title of Madden. The game has improved drastically over the last 15 years of its existence. This is arguably the best version ever made for the Playstation 2 game console.
Summary: I'll start with the premise that EA's Madden series is the greatest sports video game series ever produced. If you disagree with me on this premise, well I suspect this review won't be that helpful to you. With that in mind, the folks at EA have outdone themselves with NFL 2006. The QB focus feature (provides a "cone" that indicates where the QB is focusing) is amazing, and adds a level of realism sorely lacking from past Maddens.
Summary: Madden 2006 is a very fun and exciting game. The way you are able to manage your team and its players is very realistic. The new QB Vision was a little wierd at first and took some getting used to but once you get the hang of it, it goes along with the precision passing very well and further adds to the reality of the game. So all in all, this game is excellent and is incredible in large groups whether you are playing online or with friends.
Summary: Over the last few years the quality of the best football video game series of all time has decreased while the price has increased. Sice 2003 every Madden game was the last year's game with a roster update. Knowing this I spent $20 on 2K5 last year rather than blowing 50 on Madden, and I made the right choice as 2K5 was better.
Summary: oh my god. all you who say that the qb mode is too hard, you must really suck at this game then and have no talent. plus, it's realistic that they throw ducks when they're not looking at a reciever, you try throwing to someone 20 yards down-field without even looking at them. Super star mode is decent, but i like to manage a team, so i do both superstar and franchise. the problem with superstar is that you're not sure if you wanna do more than one season.
