Doesn't work on ps3

Reviewermail03, Amazon
7 July 2013
  • Summary: I bought this game for my Ps3 but it wasn't compatible. I own this game for gamecube and it's really fun. The create a play feature makes the game way more interesting. If you're creative and have a good knowledge of football, then I'd buy this game.

  • Summary: So what if some of the bells & whistles are not there, after all it is a NFL FOOTBALL GAME.For us who only care about THE FOOTBALL, the graphics are amazing especially in HD. The game play to me, seems to be up to the madden standard.

Not Bad At All

Marc "Snowman", Amazon
9 December 2005
  • Summary: Madden 06 is by the best sports game to date. The QB vision allows the player to make passes high, low, or anywhere they want the ball to be thrown to the reciever. The best part of the game is the Superstar mode. You start as a NFL prospect then you make your way to the top of the NFL.

  • Summary: Madden Football 2006 is a good game. There are good graphics and interesting new options like NFL Superstar. The problem is that now that they are the only game in town they are slipping. The new passing mode is more annoying then fun, and the fun level is dropping little by little in this series.

A Basic Review of Madden '06

Freddy D, Amazon
25 August 2005
  • Summary: first off madden took the new passing feature to far. Its not a big upgrade and in 05 you could do the same thing with just a bit less control. The truck stick is a nice addition, making a nice opposite to the hit stick.

Overall Good Game

  • Summary: The new Madden game has finally come out. Why McNabb is on the cover I don't know. Anyway, overall, EA Sports has dropped another keeper. No surprise really, as EA always has the best sports games on the market.

Madden got its weight up, and so should you crybabies

Danie Parker "The Sacred Fighter", Amazon
17 August 2005
  • Summary: For starters let me say that I am a rabid football fan, and I will play any game regardless of what name is on the front if it simulated football in a fun, accurate manner. That said, I thought that ESPN 2K5 was the way to go last year.

A good game with a lot of options, but could be improved.

MAS "MAS", Amazon

  • Summary: Overall, I give Madden 2006 for PS2 4 stars. It itsn't perfect, but it does offer a lot of options. Pros: * If you're new to football video games, or new to football in general, the Madden tutorial where the plays and lineups are explained, and then you get to practice them, is awesome!

"Madden 2006: A New Face For Football Gaming"

Wewill1992 "Zac", Amazon
13 August 2005
  • Summary: The first thing I noticed was the much improved graphics. This made the appearence much more flattering and much easier to pick up and play. When the game came out, the rosters from this game were fairly accurate. Game modes include Franchise Mode which has a much better radio show this year.

EA made some changes--when is enough?

Rob "Salty", Amazon
12 August 2005
  • Summary: I really really liked 'O5 and digged both the Franchise and Online features. But as of right now, i'm not sure if i like that new passing system--just because it's difficult right now, and you can tell who/where your opponent is throwing to for the most part.
