Nothing like the film

H CJ "Doodlebug", Amazon
8 December 2009
  • Summary: Firstly, I hated the film. It was unrealistic, and looked nothing like Madagascar which ruined it for me, as I sat through the whole thing picking it apart with my mind. However, in the game, it's much more like the country, although the graphics aren't as polished as the movie, the background and challenges are very good, and the music was really fun to listen to. It's not indiginous music to Madagascar, but really lovely.

A Good Fun Game for Children

mariofan1..., Ciao
10 June 2009
  • Excerpt: I had mixed expectations with this game on one hand it is a movie game so probably would just be made to cash in on the other hand I really enjoyed the film and this game looked quite fun and the mini-games included looked good fun and the game was a bit different from most games e.g. shooting. I have to say that this game comes in the middle and I would not really say it is good or bad but is probably quite suitable for its target age group which is children.
  • Pros: fun, minigames, better than most childrens games
  • Cons: Nothing special

What a wonderful game!

  • Excerpt: I did not buy this game personally, but if I could go back in time and choose a game...it would have been this one. By far my favourite game, and after playing it...now my favourite film! One of the main advantages is that the game is simple, although you may meet some areas of toughness, the games essential essence and the tasks that need to be completed are fun and easy, and can be enjoyed by any age that can hold a joystick!
  • Pros: Simple, Very like the Film
  • Cons: No hints, auto save

User Review

RobbanP, Ciao
21 June 2009
  • Pros: madagaskar!, kommentarer
  • Cons: filmspel, lätt, bara mainstory
