Summary: Well I got this game free with my PS2 and I must admit I am quite glad - because there is no way I would pay for it! Yes it is good to look at, has plenty of options and would keep the Lotus/sports car geek happy but it is just TOO SLOW.
Summary: Speaking as someone who has owned a Lotus Elise for a few years now, I can say that the behaviour of the cars in the game seems to be fairly faithful when you get them out of shape on a race track.
Summary: I bought Lotus Challenge hoping for a decent racing game for under a tenner, and I was pleasantly surprised. The graphics are excellent and would put many other recent full price racing games to shame.
Summary: First things first. This is not a Gran Turismo beater. However, it is a highly competent, interesting, and above-all fun racer that..., is hard to beat - assuming you've already got GT3, of course... Provided you like Lotuses (and who doesn't?
Summary: Yes, that's right, Lotus Challenge is the first decent ps2 game with major damage! This game shows what GT3 should have included, and in my view has easily comparable graphics. I would reccommend this to any Lotus fan's such as myself and race fans in general.
Summary: This racer is great, apart from having the usual racing features of other games, such as different tracks and computer levels of intelligence, it's also got an inovative challenge mode. This involves loads of stunt manouvres and pushing the car to the limit.
Summary: Well, it's a driving game. That is about as far as it goes. I really did try to like it. The damage effect, and slight variation with the stunt mode are okay but, the actual driving quality is very bad. It is like trying to drive through treacle.
Summary: I was looking for a decent racing game on the playstation as all of my games are RPG, and didnt want to buy GT3 because all my friends had it, so I looked a little and found lotus challenge on the shelf of HMV for just 30 quid. Im taking the game back tommorow. This game was awful, truly.
