Lord of the Rings: The Third Age
15 January 2007
Conclusion: Excellent game. Think of Final Fantasy but Lord of the Rings style. Took me about 12 hours to finish which is not too bad for a movie tie in. If you like your RPGs and Lord of the Rings you shouldn't be disappointed.
Summary: LOTR the 3rd age is a cross between arcade style hack and slash games and true RPG's. Game format is based on building a party of adventurers and more or less following the route taken by the Fellowship of the Ring in the films.
Summary: I think the third age is a good stratergy game which includes features from the film such as mumiki orcs and much more. when you start your life as a little man with a sword then you get 200 men with a sword and at your aid and protection to follow you and protect you. i would advise you to buy it.
Summary: The sound is all from the original soundtrack. Putting it bluntly, if you liked the music from the film, then you'll like the games sounds. Gandalf adds his voice to many of the scenes that come up, which is all exclusive to the game. It adds a little character and is fairly impressive.
Summary: This game is LOTR meets FFX, if you played FFX and liked/loved it and you like the LOTR movies/games then you will love this game, but let me warn you that if your expecting another two towers or return of the king your in for a supprise.
Summary: The Lord of the Rings movie trilogy has proved to be fertile source material for video game adaptations, spawning hack-and-slash action adventures as well as a soon-to-be-released real-time strategy title.
Summary: This is a turn based RPG that follows the story of a group who aren't the Fellowship of the Ring, but who are active at the same time in some of the same places. I liked the idea that you were playing an alternative group of heroes.
Summary: I bought this game because i played it when i was yonger and really enjoyed it. Its the same now i really love this game its so addictive and i can't get enough of it if i didn't have work the next day I'd be at it all night (How sad did i just sound then?
