Lord of the Rings: The Third Age
15 January 2007
Conclusion: Excellent game. Think of Final Fantasy but Lord of the Rings style. Took me about 12 hours to finish which is not too bad for a movie tie in. If you like your RPGs and Lord of the Rings you shouldn't be disappointed.
Summary: Kudos to EA games for trying something different! It's fun to not just be one character for a change, like in the other LOTR games. I really enjoyed the battle system, as it resembles FFX, and found the story to be quite good. This game is definately worth a try!
Summary: The Lord of the Rings movie trilogy has proved to be fertile source material for video game adaptations, spawning hack-and-slash action adventures as well as a soon-to-be-released real-time strategy title.
Summary: when i saw this being advertised i thought 'hmmm, could be fun. why not?'. then i heard you dont play as the fellowship, which made it sound a bit rubbish. i took the risk of £15 and when it arrived it was 10 times better than i ever expected.
Summary: This is a turn based RPG that follows the story of a group who aren't the Fellowship of the Ring, but who are active at the same time in some of the same places. I liked the idea that you were playing an alternative group of heroes.
Summary: This game is LOTR meets FFX, if you played FFX and liked/loved it and you like the LOTR movies/games then you will love this game, but let me warn you that if your expecting another two towers or return of the king your in for a supprise.
Summary: I bought this game because i played it when i was yonger and really enjoyed it. Its the same now i really love this game its so addictive and i can't get enough of it if i didn't have work the next day I'd be at it all night (How sad did i just sound then?
Summary: As the title suggests, I think this is, overall, a good game. Having skill points to spend on each of your characters means you can play to their strengths, but it can be confusing if you've only just started and don't know what their strengths are...
Summary: I bought this game mistakenly, but did not regret it. The game is set amidst the events of Lord of The Rings in parallel to the main action. It follows a very much Pokemon/ Warhammer/ Dungeons and Dragons style theme, where upgrades are possible based on purchases for armour (chest plates and...
