Summary: One fun game. One challenging game. Try this one with the hardest setting and see how long it takes to finish the missions!! It may not compare to the Ace Combat series visually, but it has a lot to offer! Highly Recommended!
Summary: I found this game fun, however not as fun as the Ace Combat series of games. In the Ace Combat games, flight, takeoffs, landings, and combat are fairly simple and very stable. Flight and combat in Lethal Skies II was unstable and complicated. I also prefer the Strangereal world of Ace Combat, whereas the Lethal Skies take place on this earth without a specific year, and the world has been devastated by natural disasters.
Summary: Gameplay: 6/10 The controls are very similar to those of Ace Combat, but the aircraft are jerky and difficult to stabilize. Missiles can't be fired without locking on first, eradicating some of the realism. Additionally, although others have said that the payload is far more realistic, the weapons provided to some aircraft can't be carried in real life, such as the F-14D carrying AGM-88s. Another example of unrealistic payload is the amount carried.
Summary: Unlike 'Ace Combat 4', the graphics for the story-line was Very-Good! The Arial Graphics were Good/Very Good! The Challenges in each Stages, were well planned and worth-well playing! The Fighter Designs/Lay-outs were Good, but not Great. Actually, almost better than 'Ace Combat 4', almost! The Best Graphics I have seen so far is 'Ace Combat 5'! 'Lethal Skies II', comes close.
Summary: This graphically gorgeous game desrves praise!!! One of if not the best simulator games i have ever played. Beatiful in game graphics, and lots of airplanjes, in one game. (all other flight sims only have a few planes) this one has 19 of them! Even X-play on techtv gave it a 4 out of 5, a five is very rare.
Summary: Although I have only played through the first few levels of "Lethal Skies 2", I thought I should review it since no one else has at this time. The graphics are a notch below what they should be, especially since "Ace Combat 4" came out 2 years ago, and it still looks better than this game. The planes themselves look somewhat choppy, and the levels are lacking detail badly.
Summary: Leathal Skies II may not beat to Ace Combat 4 (Its only real competition) on the graphics front, but it has it in every other aspect. I own both games, and got bored of Ace Combat 4 within two hours. I'm still playing Leathal Skies. This game has very realistic flight patterns, and you just can't do anything that's physically impossible. Your payload (missles, et cetera) is also realistic.
