  • Summary: It improved a little from the first one but it still sucks! The first one is a 3 of of 10.

Not worth it

  • Summary: This is a horribly slow and boring game. The characters don't move like humans and more like stiff clay figures. Success in story mode is based on pops from the crowd. Nice concept, but must I follow the same pattern just to get my popularity quotient up? And the game is quite prone to random button-mashing strategies.

No point in getting this in lieu of the amazing SD 4!

  • Summary: If you own a PS2, there's only one wrestling game out there and that's SD4. There's no excuse on the planet for anyone who owns a PS2 to purchase this title. Yeah, LoW2 is improved from last year's...but that's not saying much at all. It's still complete trash. I made the mistake of taking my optimism from the awesome Smackdown 4 and somehow hoping beyond hope this game would be good, too. I really thought and hoped maybe they'd make this a decent game. It isn't.

  • Excerpt: "...one example of which is Legends of Wrestling 2. Upon firing up the game and starting a match you meet the first dilemma; choosing a wrestler. If you’re anything like me you’ll only recognise a handful of the ‘legends’ on offer. Of course you can always create your own brawler, but at this stage you just want to get stuck in. Fighting itself isn’t bad. It’s your pretty average wrestling affair, with punches, kicks, grapples and the usual assortment ...
  • Pros: Basic gameplay isn't bad, Multiplayer is fun for a short time
  • Cons: 'Bargain Bin' feel, Little variety, Far less accomplished than some other games in the genre
