Summary: While I had my reservations about this game after reading about it on different sites on the web, when I saw it in a GameStop while on vacation for $4.99 I figured why not give it a shot. I can say this right away, I am very glad that I picked it up. For starters, I love that all the characters, and let me tell ya this roster is HUGE, are available right away, and with all their attire from the start.
Summary: I played Showdown: LOW a long time ago and it was the best pro wrestling game so far. Almost all of the most popular wrestling stars(with the exception of Ric Flair, Kevin Nash, Doink The Clown, etc.)was featured. the actual stadiums were correctly detailed and the play-by-play from Tony Shiavone was excellent. The deceased wrestlers' memorial was touching and Bret Hart's how-to sections of the game were a real treat.
Summary: First of all, this game is great, but will someone PLEASE tell me how to unlock the secret superstars, Ronnie Garvin, Brutus Beefcake, Michael & David Von Erich, and Butch Reed, I've struggled for HOURS trying to figure out how to unlock them. Thanks!
Summary: I do not admire those gamers who knock Showdown Legends Of Wrestling. For one you got to look at a number of factors. Firstly, Acclaim have modelled a number of deceased and past superstars and as they have since grown old, put on weight or are indeed dead, Acclaim have done very well in modelling these superstars.
