A step backwards from its predecessor, but still good

Steven Rinck, Amazon
23 September 2005
  • Summary: This is the latest (but hopefully not last) game in the Legacy of Kain Series. It is also the only game in which you get to play both Kain and Raziel. I was really excited about this game at first, hearing they had revamped the combat system, about the only thing not great from the previous games.

  • Summary: Until now, the Legacy Of Kain games have failed to leave a positive impression on me. The storyline and voice acting caught my interest, but the gameplay and graphics were mediocre at best.

Vincent, Amazon
26 February 2013

Fangs for the memory

M. Sockel, amazon.co.uk
19 August 2008
  • Summary: Look, I've played all the Legacy of Kain/Blood Omen/Soul Reaver games from the PS1 onwards. And they are great - kinda a bit of Resident Evil but with more a supernatural bent. The graphics are always good, the stories engaging, and playability is excellent.

  • Summary: I would agree that LOKD is a stunning looking game. It is a worthy addition to the series in terms of storyline. the action is more or less linier, and whilst the combat soon gets repetative, you will rarelt tire of grabbing some poor shmoe and sinking your fangs into him or blasting him onto a...
