Summary: I bought this game to add to my Legacy of Kain Collection. I will keep it in the original shrink wrap, unless I break, and it looks great with my vintage video game collection. I loved this game and own it also for PC. It is the best Legacy of Kain game in the series. Great story, great characters, and fun gameplay.
Summary: So, to sum it up Defiance is basically DMC with everything other than the storyline/lore being horrific. The camera is infuriating at times and is more of a challenge than the actual game. The game-play itself is tragic, it quickly becomes an irritating platformer with dull, repetitive fights you have to deal with which you care not for. There are simple tricks to make most enemies incredibly easy and faster to kill specifically jumping and down-slashing.
Summary: Surprized to receive today, & quite content. No Problems whatsoever. The product was in great shape & came thru clear on player. Have played Kain for years , the center circle broke on mine And was surprised to find it at all.
Summary: Legacy of Kain: Defiance is by far the best in the entire series of Legacy of Kain games. The first thing you'll note is the very great graphics that this game brings, everything is beautifully detailed and clear, all running very smoothly and beautifully. Another thing that really makes this game shine is the fact that you can play as both Raziel AND Kain. Both characters are available, each with their own version of the Soul Reaver.
Summary: This actually was the first Legacy of Kain game I ever played, and it got me hooked for life. The story, characters, combat, music, and voice acting are spectacular, and I would easily play the game 20 more times just to experience all that again.
Summary: If they couldn't make the game longer, there should have been another sequel. I think I read something about some of the full team not being available. Lots of running back and forth and ultra nasty boss battles extend playing time, but not really in the most fun way. This is still one of my favorite games, though. Limited viewing angles (compared with abandoned advantages of Soul Reaver 2) create need for unwarranted control compensation.
