Kya, official edition

Panos, Amazon
25 January 2011
  • Summary: I don't like video games. I don't play video games on my PC or on any Game platform. "Kya, the Dark Lineage" was the first game my older son ever played back in 2003, (although he was only four and I was the one to play - he just watched), so we decided to replace the edition we had (it was for...

Glitchy but great

Mali, Amazon
15 August 2007
  • Summary: There are only a few things wrong with this game. The most important is that it is GLITCHY. You will often find yourself stuck in some odd positions - such as walking on air, non-working devices, etc.

Addict, beauty, combat, explore, puzzle, facets, story

Gen Falel "Gen", Amazon

  • Summary: Our heroine and her brother are sucked into an alternate universe world. Our heroine, Kya, regains consciousness just in time to flee for her life with the help of one of the natives--giving a fast-paced school-of-hard-knocks demonstration of how the game's physics and nature works.

Sometimes ridiculously complicated

Grace Collins, Amazon
23 October 2004
  • Summary: This was a great game... in spite of being really frustrated at times with the situation and my own inept game-play skills. It was an amazing game and a whole lot of fun to play. The first part of the game though is a real intense start, no calm.

Confusing but good

Mari, Amazon
10 July 2004
  • Summary: It's great that the main character is a cute girly-girl (who can also fight) -it's about time! I like how you can wander around, but my problem is how the map isn't that easy to follow. It's kind of a pain and easy to get lost. However, I am going to buy this game and finish it.

Excellent! Would be 5 out of 5, but...

  • Summary: Excellent game! Would have given it 5 out of 5, but there are a few minor annoyances that kept me from doing so. However, these minor flaws did not keep me from having a lot of fun with this game. If you liked games such as Rayman 2 and Jak & Daxter (first one), you'll almost certainly like Kya.

Great!

Mali, Amazon
5 January 2004
  • Summary: Finally a girly female lead character! I like platform games (and Spyro is my favorite). I don't buy alot of games because I don't like the ones where you get stuck on a part or it gets too hard,etc.etc.; this one I rented. I obviously didn't complete it, but it is playable.
