like a new experience of old ideas in a very good way

Summary: Great game, cant stress enough, creatures to collect, stealth gameplay, fighting moves, fun weapons, collectibles, upgrades, surf gameplay, ton of interesting puzzles and kool enemies, multiple kinds of gameplay, animal riding, bosses, and best of all, the wind mechanix. You'll float, fall, be pushed and pulled all by the wind. A great concept, but added to the fun stealth or fight, small rpg element and kickin stuff around features make this game well rounded.
Summary: I don't like video games. I don't play video games on my PC or on any Game platform. "Kya, the Dark Lineage" was the first game my older son ever played back in 2003, (although he was only four and I was the one to play - he just watched), so we decided to replace the edition we had (it was for promotion purposes only) with the official one for two reasons: first, we like to keep things (like our first ones) forever and, secondly, being curious whether the official...
Summary: There are only a few things wrong with this game. The most important is that it is GLITCHY. You will often find yourself stuck in some odd positions - such as walking on air, non-working devices, etc. There were too many times I had to throw Kya off of a cliff to get a particular device to operate correctly.

Summary: Our heroine and her brother are sucked into an alternate universe world. Our heroine, Kya, regains consciousness just in time to flee for her life with the help of one of the natives--giving a fast-paced school-of-hard-knocks demonstration of how the game's physics and nature works. Then you end up in the middle of the remaining native village, learn about the terrible threat of the Wolfen (and that your brother is probably in their clutches), and that you're the chosen...
Summary: This was a great game... in spite of being really frustrated at times with the situation and my own inept game-play skills. It was an amazing game and a whole lot of fun to play. The first part of the game though is a real intense start, no calm. Hi how ya doin set- up thing you have to do stuff right away. It was insane. It was beautiful and a lot of fun. As for the whole thrown together bit. Not true, it's thought out. THough sometimes quite annoyingly thought out.
Summary: It's great that the main character is a cute girly-girl (who can also fight) -it's about time! I like how you can wander around, but my problem is how the map isn't that easy to follow. It's kind of a pain and easy to get lost. However, I am going to buy this game and finish it. =) My favorites are Spyro, Ty, Dark Cloud 2, and Whiplash.
Summary: Excellent game! Would have given it 5 out of 5, but there are a few minor annoyances that kept me from doing so. However, these minor flaws did not keep me from having a lot of fun with this game. If you liked games such as Rayman 2 and Jak & Daxter (first one), you'll almost certainly like Kya.
Summary: Finally a girly female lead character! I like platform games (and Spyro is my favorite). I don't buy alot of games because I don't like the ones where you get stuck on a part or it gets too hard,etc.etc.; this one I rented. I obviously didn't complete it, but it is playable. The hard parts are parts you can work on and eventually get through and then they aren't hard anymore. I really like this game, but I constantly felt like I was getting lost even with the map.
