Dissapointing

Amazon
7 March 2002
  • Summary: For all the hype in previous reviews about this being the "Best boxing game ever made" this game sure has alot of flaws. First of all thats a pretty bold statement to make especially when this game lacks many of the features of its predecessor, the original Knockout Kings from 1999.

Rent this game first

Jeff, Amazon
17 March 2001
  • Summary: I'll tell you right now, rent this game first before you buy it. One thing that will really dissapoint you is the audience. The audience looks TERRIBLE! The audience contains only like 10 people but they are multiplied probably 20 times!! So your basically looking at 10 BLURRY figures in the audience. Also as mentioned above the loading time is terrible. 75% of your time will be speant at the loading screen. Another thing I was uncomfortble with was the training.

Fun but Slow

Michael J. Tian, Amazon
5 March 2001
  • Summary: This is a game that is packed with a wealth of fighters, from Ali to De La Hoya. The fighting scenes are good and very smooth. The degree of difficulty, however, is not very challenging. The game play is extremely slow due to the frequent and absurd amount of loading time it required. Overall, its a better than average game that needs a little more work.
