Summary: I recently purchased the game “Kingdom Hearts” for the Playstation 2 due to its reasonable price combined with good reviews from friends. Upon first sitting down to play the game I instantly noticed several things. This was a game made very much so for young children who are already fascinated/obsessed with the final fantasy series. The graphics are probably the best part of this lackluster game as they are surreal yet beautifully rendered.
Summary: Don't get me wrong, I love Kingdom Hearts and the whole universe that it comes along with. Naturally, when this game came out I bought it right away expecting a great intro to the second stab at the game. What I found was a remake of the first game. While the gameplay is fun I'd have to say that it feels like 90% of what I'm doing in Chain of Memories is what I did in the original. I was expecting much more new stuff but I was a little disappointed.
Summary: Well it is very original but kind of boring in a way. The theme song is cool though. I actually burnt it onto a CD last week. Well anyway its worth a try. I dont recommend it though. Sorry Disney You ruined what Square could have done!
Summary: I see disney characters and PINEAPPLES. I havent had so much until there was that time with the itching powder and a sliding glass door or wait there was that time i shot myself with an iron scrotom mmmmmmmmmmm good times. GERBILS HURAY HURA MINTY PICKLE SOUR SAUCE BEACHED WHALE HELMET IN THE BUSH.
Summary: Indeed, bring back the Megadrive because that was the era to play quality games based on Disney characters. This era it seems, is not. What initially seems like a great idea (Square doing a Disney RPG) does actually start off quite nicely, with decent music and wonderful cartoony graphics for the introduction sequence. This then leads on to a little section on an island where you walk around and interact with a bunch of your friends.
