Summary: Kingdom Hearts is my all time favorite video games series. I was hooked on the series once I picked up this game way back in 2002. The story was charming, and this game brings me back to a time when the story of Kingdom Hearts wasn't so difficult to follow and understand. The idea of mixing Final Fantasy and Disney was something unheard of and just sounded like an idiotic idea at the time, but it was strangely one of the best decisions Square Enix could have made.
Summary: The game isn't always good about helping you figure out where to go. I've required a walk through a couple of times just because I couldn't figure out where to go next, even after exploring an area super thoroughly several times.
Pros: Final Fantasy meets Disney in a really fun and inventive adventure. Fun story, fun characters, fun game play, and fun experience.
Cons: The combat system is annoying - more so for me because I have a repetitive stress injury, and it's hard to play games that require button smashing like this one. Combat quite seriously involves aiming Sora in a general direction towards the enemy and smashing X over and over until it's dead. (Okay, there can be more to battle than that - but playing lazily because you're sick of the constant monsters and you're just trying to get through an area means lots of button s...
Summary: When I ordered Kingdom Hearts I was expecting it to arrive at my house the next month because of weather condition. I was so excited when it arrived earlier than i expected and i have not been able to stop playing the game when i can get my turn for the television.
Summary: UGGH!! Right in the Feels. This is what started it all for me. I remember playing this younger and trying to hard to beat the bosses and get the cool keyblades. I never did get the Ultima keyblade in this but it didnt ruin the amazing experience for me. Im even replaying this to relive those Glory Days. you just cant put it down. And im glad i got into this game.
Summary: this is the start of the greatest video game series of all time. i love this game so much. i can play it over and over and over.... AND OVER AGAIN! it combines my favorite things action, adventure, and classic disney characters. and classic disney characters kicking butt. this game also has one of the best storylines of all time.
Summary: The first time I rented this game, I fell in love with it. One problem is that my brother hated it. After that never rent it or play it for 11 years. My brother is gone and I finally buy it. The reason why I bought because the third game of Kingdom Hearts is in development and the game would not get out of my head. Kingdom Hearts is still an amazing game with the perfect story, graphics, and game play.
Summary: This is my favorite game on ps2. It has amazing graphics, you play as a more mature sora with new clothes, abilities, and now you can even change into different forms with their own design, unique powers, and all with different colors on each one. Sora's new clothes in this game compared to the first game, are much more stylish.
Summary: This is a really good game but don't get it for the PS2. Square enix is coming out with this game in HD and its the final mix version (extended version) to the PS3. I only recommend this game if you have a PS2 not a PS3.
Summary: The best aspects of Kingdom Hearts are probably the Disney and Final Fantasy fanservice, graphics and voice acting. The commendable thing about it is that it should've failed miserably, but it didn't, somehow Tetsuya Nomura found a way to put Goofy and Sephiroth on the same disc without it being a total travesty. As for the gameplay, the action-RPG interface works decently, but it's a little clunky in comparison to later games.
