Summary: Not worth buying if you have a used Japanese PS2 because you can buy the Japanese only 20th Anniversary KOF NEST saga which has all the NEST canon KOF's (99 Evolution, 2000, 2001). Plus, the Japanese copies have the arranged soundtracks which were not released in the US. I will not be a snob and say this is a complete waste because I do have this copy and the Japanese anniversary collection equivalent (which also includes online play, NEO GEO mode, and other extras).
Summary: I used to have this game when I was in college and it gave us hours of fun. Unfortunately I moved apartments and my old roommate decided to take property of my games and sell them on eBay. I saw the price and had to have it so i ordered it. I like 2000 more than 2001 but they are both great games.
Summary: This is a old skool fighting game made by SNK / SNK PLAYMORE very rare to find because this is when SNK went through some company changes. This game is a lot like street fight except you can have 3 on 3 matches in kof 2000 and 1- 4 in kof 2001 with plenty of characters to choose from.
Summary: This is exactly what I expected. King of Fighters 2000 is really fun because there are varity of strikers characters that you don't expect to see. The only problem with the game is that it can't be played with the component on the HD LCD TV cord on the PS2. Unless you still have the standard AV video cord and connected to your HD LCD TV, then your good to go.
Summary: Quick review, KOF 2000 is the best of the "year series". Obviously I am not alone in thinking this, but many disagree with me. Lots of fighters to chose from, I like the backgrounds too. A bit expensive nowadays, I would get KOF 11 considering the asking price used on here. The games themselves though are FUN if you like the KOF series!
Summary: The wait is over. Now THE KING OF FIGHTERS, Episodes 6 and 7, are both here. The sequel, THE KING OF FIGHTERS 2000, plus the final chapter of The Tale of NESTS saga, THE KING OF FIGHTERS 2001, equals fierce 2D action-fighting on 2 DVDs! Duke it out like never before in this special 2-in-1 pack exclusively for the PlayStation 2 computer entertainment systemThe wait is over. Now THE KING OF FIGHTERS, Episodes 6 and 7, are both here.
Summary: Alright, now we got King of Fighters 2000 and 2001 released for PlayStation2. Now please, I'm begging you SNK, release your old classic titles for PlayStation 2! Especialy the Samurai Shodown series! I tell you something...you just don't get games like SNK anymore now a days. When I was a kid, I absolutely fell in love with the SNK games, but no one I knew could afford the insanely expensive Neo-Geo at the time.
