Technically Impressive PS2 Game That's Nothing Special.

Summary: This is one of the best looking PS2 games you can find. It's got all the bullet points you'd want in a FPS, aiming, multiple weapons, secondary fire, a grenade button. What it doesn't have is any compelling story or unique innovation. It's a mediocre FPS. It might be far better than some of the crap that got shoveled onto the PS2, but there's nothing special about Killzone.
Fun Classic Game for Background on the Killzone Saga

Summary: A fun and nostalgic romp from the PlayStation2 era that gives the background to the history of the Hellghan and why ISA is not too fond of them. Despite some aging issues with graphics and controls the game is still a nice stroll down gaming memory lane, especially if you play as Rico.
Summary: Discounting the fact i tried to play this on an HDTV, and a PS3 with BC. the game looks horrible. Even set to 4:3 ratio, the game had so many jaggies and ran so choppy. this is a review for a game made of course 6 years ago.(i wanted to play this before i played Killzone 2, i also posted a review there) Pro's -Story line is cool -Lots of guns -Aiming is not that hard Con's -Controls are super clunky -no jump -no melee -Graphics are ick on HDTV -Dying and having to...
Summary: I just demoed the sequel and it is much better. The graphics are the best I've ever seen in the demo. I recommend playing the first one on easy if you get frustrated by check points which are far away and need to replay a long sequence over. Don't be embarrassed as it is frustrating. Try to play it as a fun single shooter and not as a Halo killer.
Summary: Graphics are good but the control is not as good as I would like and the story line is ok but could be better I would not buy this game for more than 10 dollars and is not as good as other shooters I have played.
Killzone is a decent FPS with plenty of great grahics.

Summary: If you are looking for a good playing first person shooter then killzone should fill the desire. It controls like most console shooters and has very good graphics as well. There are plenty of guns to chose from and a solid level set. The story is where much of killzone shines. For multiplayer you can go online or play two player split screen with the option of adding bots. There is also half a dozen different game types to play.
Summary: ok it was...ok nothing special i mean the graphics are horrible, horrible single player, and why the hell are they trying to make an unsuccessful halo clone? *sighs* just dont buy it even if your a game freak who only plays horrible games...
Summary: When one purchases a new game from the local gamestore or whatnot, they expect an enthralling storyline, and various, differing levels of originality. When you look at Killzone, you see very similar levels, not enough weapons, and so much more potential. Online, this game is probably one of the best for the PS2, but if you are buying games for single player fun factor, look past Killzone.
