Summary: Killzone may have tried to do too much with too little hardware power (or so many say). Regardless, it wasn't all that impressive of a FPS to me when compared to the other options available about that time, but Killzone 2 and on have been excellent games! They definitely figured out a winning recipe.
Summary: ok it was...ok nothing special i mean the graphics are horrible, horrible single player, and why the hell are they trying to make an unsuccessful halo clone? *sighs* just dont buy it even if your a game freak who only plays horrible games...
Summary: When one purchases a new game from the local gamestore or whatnot, they expect an enthralling storyline, and various, differing levels of originality. When you look at Killzone, you see very similar levels, not enough weapons, and so much more potential. Online, this game is probably one of the best for the PS2, but if you are buying games for single player fun factor, look past Killzone.
Summary: First-person-shooters is one of the best genres in video game history. They spawn many precious tittles like Halo, Goldeneye, and Area 51. Before Killzone came out, Sony bragged about it being a "Halo Killer". Read my review on this rip-off. Let me get down to business. The graphics for this game are surprisingly well-done, especially for the Playstation 2. The sound and ambiance will bring into the experience.
Summary: KILLZONE Touted by some as a direct competitor to the hugely popular Halo 2 on Xbox, Killzone is actually so far removed in look and feel that comparing the two just ain't right, man. As opposed to Halo's shiny spaciness, the game takes place in a gritty, dark and realistically war-torn environment, featuring everything from trench to jungle warfare. And for the record, Killzone is my pick of the two games.
Summary: There is a lot to be expected of Killzone but it's not that awesome. Let's look at what it does: Is it better than Halo: no. Is it simple: no. Does it have a very good story line: kinda. But Halo Killer? Yeah, right. The graphics aren't enough to do this game justice as you can't really take cover easily, control the sniper rifle (or any rifle really) and the multiplayer online is a slow disappointment. Not a halo killer, but it might be worth renting.
Summary: when i first saw this game i thought"WHAT THE HELL IS THIS PIECE OF ****?!"i mean, the sound and graphics are amazing, but rest of this game is just pointless.and theres so many explosions,i couldn't see a damn thing!!!if you like to play shoot'em ups then this is the game for you.other wise just stay out of reach of this title.
Summary: Okay Killzone is a cool First person shooter But still does not compare to the Almighty god Goldeneye But back to the Nature at hand .. When was Halo good ? never Halo 2 good Nope And Hamncheese is a A so Called "x-BoxFanboy" which makes him a complete Douchebag But So kill zone Gets 3.5 Halo one and two gets Pissed on hahah and i have played both so dont comeback With your douchebag comments HAHAH Peace out Keep It locked Keep it Loaded Keep IT gangstaa BABIEEE
Summary: This game is most certainly the best First Person Shooter the PS2 has ever seen to date. But it's difficult to tell if it lives up to the hype and the title "Halo Killer" which Sony has bestowed upon it. It definitely has that certain gritty feel and frantic pace that Halo doesn't quite hit. It feels as though you are in a war, whereas Halo feels like you're on an alien world shooting aliens. So I would say both games accomplish their goal quite nicely.
