Summary: This is one of the finest first-person shooters ever made for the Playstation 2. It's set in the far future where man has ventured to other star systems. You can only carry three weapons, so you have to make choices. You can use enemy weapons, which helps ion later stages where ISA weapons and ammo are very hard to find. The graphics are excellent. The story is good. The gameplay is stressful, almost like real combat. (I am a combat veteran) The biggest minus is sniping.
Summary: This is the first installment of the Killzone franchise and ive been into Killzone since the first one. I dont know why people reviewed this game as a three star and horrible. The whole thing about the game bieng laggy and the AI's bieng random is all a lie. The AI's are wonderful. You never know what to expect. The multiplayer is very fun. I stayed up last night till two in the morning playing this and i currently have 3 copies of it just in case lol.
Summary: This game is ok. Though many aspects of it doesn't stand the test of time. First off the graphics are just not that great anymore, they don't stand the test of time very well. Also, aiming and targeting is really hard. The story mode is solid and ok, and the enemy AI is average. There are a few offline game modes like deathmatch and team deathmatch which are all ok.
Technically Impressive PS2 Game That's Nothing Special.

Summary: This is one of the best looking PS2 games you can find. It's got all the bullet points you'd want in a FPS, aiming, multiple weapons, secondary fire, a grenade button. What it doesn't have is any compelling story or unique innovation. It's a mediocre FPS. It might be far better than some of the crap that got shoveled onto the PS2, but there's nothing special about Killzone.
Excerpt: DISCLAIMER: The reviewer never owned a Playstation 2, and as such the technical scores listed above may be skewed. The control and gameplay scores, however, are based on his feelings having played only Playstation 3 games.
Summary: This game is epic and it spawned the best series of shooter game. The only thing i hate about this game is you HAVE to play as the bad guys, If you actually read the story about killzone you learn why the hellghast are all angry and want their planet back. The isa forced them off of vekta and made them move to the hellish iradiated planet hellghan but the people adapted and became hellghast.
Summary: Regardless of anyone else's opinion, this game to me will ALWAYS be on top the list for my favorite FPS of all time. I can't even recall how many hours I used to spend playing this game non-stop. I could write an article explaining why its the best, but I feel you have to actually play it first to get a feel for the gameplay because it's unique and unlike any other FPS out there.
