Summary: Killzone may have tried to do too much with too little hardware power (or so many say). Regardless, it wasn't all that impressive of a FPS to me when compared to the other options available about that time, but Killzone 2 and on have been excellent games! They definitely figured out a winning recipe.
Summary: This is one of the finest first-person shooters ever made for the Playstation 2. It's set in the far future where man has ventured to other star systems. You can only carry three weapons, so you have to make choices. You can use enemy weapons, which helps ion later stages where ISA weapons and ammo are very hard to find. The graphics are excellent. The story is good. The gameplay is stressful, almost like real combat. (I am a combat veteran) The biggest minus is sniping.
Excerpt: DISCLAIMER: The reviewer never owned a Playstation 2, and as such the technical scores listed above may be skewed. The control and gameplay scores, however, are based on his feelings having played only Playstation 3 games.
Summary: This game is epic and it spawned the best series of shooter game. The only thing i hate about this game is you HAVE to play as the bad guys, If you actually read the story about killzone you learn why the hellghast are all angry and want their planet back. The isa forced them off of vekta and made them move to the hellish iradiated planet hellghan but the people adapted and became hellghast.
Summary: One its challenge. Two guns are bad ACE. 3 guns have recoil which is cool maybe pain in the ace to some players at first but I think its cool. Well personally number favorite shooter on the PS2.
Summary: This was one of my first Ps2 games, ive heard good things about the Killzone series but this was just dissapointing. Bad graphics, bad sound, and I found shooting in this game to be pretty hard. I would not reccomend this to anyone.
Summary: I wanted to try this series out, and I knew the ps3 games got better reviews than this game, but I can at least see why this didn't get as many good reviews. you're running through trenches and you have to shoot all enemies from a distance as they come to you. that's not very exciting. the graphics aren't that great either. but, since the ps3 versions got better reviews, I will check them out.
