24 September 2009
Excerpt: Just Cause is an exciting action game for the Playstation 2 which is like another GTA based game and is developed by Eidos. In the game you are the excellent character Rico Rodriguez who is sent to San Esperito Island and your job is to get rid of the evil dictator called Salvador Mendoza which...
Excerpt: When i first saw just cause as a preview on a gaming reviews site called gamespot I thought it was going to be great, i mean whats more fun than parachuting off a plane that 1000 ft in the air? So i bought the game as soon as it came out.
Pros: great fun (especially parachuting . . . )
Cons: unrealistic, gameplay gets boring but you can just explore then . . .
Excerpt: Just Cause, set to be the next GTA before its release, getting high media attention from the likes of the Official Playstation 2 Magazine. I saw the Ad and i was like wow i cant wait to get this game. The ad goes on about how you can parachute off planes, drive boats and cars.
Excerpt: When I first heard about Just Cause, I have to admit, I groaned "not another GTA clone". I couldn't have been more wrong. In Just Cause, you explore a set of islands so large, that it takes around 10 real world minutes to get from one side to the other, in a fighter jet!

Pros: Good graphics, crazy stunts . Great free falling !
Cons: Short story, poor music and can get repetitive .
Summary: I have only been playing this for two days so this is by no means a full review. The first thing you notice is the shear size of this game, it makes San Andreas look like it takes place in the world's smallest village!
Summary: I love GTA, I bought Just Cause after reading several different reviews on various websites saying it was superb compared to the GTA series. I've only played it for 5 hours and I disagree. GTA is fun to play and in its vastness it is still a well detailed thought out game.
Summary: After all the hype about this game, I finally got my hands on a copy. Couldn't wait to get home and play it, to the extent I left work early! Imagine my disappointment when I finally got to control the action.
Summary: I was quite looking forward to this game hoping that it would be as good as GTA, and on some levels it is better, for instance the scenery is good and you are able to see for miles. The map is huge and takes a good 20-25 mins to fly from one side to the other.
Summary: The game play, controls, and game itself is extremely similar to GTA. Although the story is much different. It is similar to GTA in that you can have entire free roam of the games massive map, set in San Esperito, a South American tropical island.
