Summary: [5.6] Just Cause focuses far too heavily on copying Grand Theft Auto and really doesn't flesh out its mechanics like it could (which the second game does perfectly). The game is barely playable, with a simplistic combat system, poor driving, and generally bland gameplay. None of the game's elements work well together, and the only thing that this game benefits from is a decent open world. Play the second game.
Summary: Let's break this down, nice and neat, real very real. This game was made in 2006 where games wish they could be as versitile,as amazing,as a game with infinite replay value. The map is bigger then most open world racing games excluding Fuel of course. This is kinda the ground work of how they produced Just Cause 2 after it being in production for 4 years.Get this, even though just Cause 2 took everything awesome about the first one and exploded on the scene as an out of this...
Summary: Approximately 180 miles south of here a certain Mr I. Newton will be spinning in his grave. Luckily for him he can't get out and play this thing. Actually I'm doing the game a disservice. It is tremendous fun for a few hours. After that it's all downhill like the opening parachute jump. It's best not to take this game too seriously (if that's even possible) and then you will have a pretty good time until you get bored with an extreme bout of deja vu.
An alright game, but not worth seriously considering.

Excerpt: Just Cause, at first glance, seems to be yet another game about a secret agent, thrown into the midst of crime and dictators. But, as the game progresses, you soon see the differences. The plot, for one, has far more depth than any other game released around the same time, and it's sure to capture you once you've played through the first chapter, even though it may seem slow to start, at first.
Excerpt: Just Cause is an exciting action game for the Playstation 2 which is like another GTA based game and is developed by Eidos. In the game you are the excellent character Rico Rodriguez who is sent to San Esperito Island and your job is to get rid of the evil dictator called Salvador Mendoza which allows you to have some fun on the missions! There is also a massive free roaming element to this game as you can explore the massive island. I mean massive!

Excerpt: Just Cause is an action game for the Playstation 2 developed by Eidos. The storyline in Just Cause is pretty simple you are CIA agent Rico Rodriguez sent to San Esperito island which has been taken over by the evil dictator Salvador Mendoza and along the way you will team up with the various other factions on the island who want Mendoza gone too. Though it is a rather basic storyline it does give you a very good excuse to go on a number of very explosive missions!
Excerpt: "When i first saw just cause as a preview on a gaming reviews site called gamespot I thought it was going to be great, i mean whats more fun than parachuting off a plane that 1000 ft in the air? So i bought the game as soon as it came out. the game was amazing for the first few days then the gameplay gets boring. all the side missions are the same, go to a random place on the ground pick up the object and bring it back to me whilst the goverment ...
Pros: great fun (especially parachuting . . . )
Cons: unrealistic, gameplay gets boring but you can just explore then . . .
