Worse Story Than Jak 2 But Better Game Play (Mostly)

Veil_Lord, Amazon
14 August 2013
  • Summary: If you've played games like Red Faction Guerrilla or Saint's Row 2 or Saint's Row The Third, you can picture this as the Pong of those style. It's an early attempt at a not quite linear game with lots of people and traffic on the street. It sort of works.

A Review

C. Nicklas, Amazon
10 June 2005
  • Summary: This game was really fun, and a lot easier than Jak 2. Where in Jak 2 many of the missions i got through with pure dumb luck this game was much easier mainly because of the addition of light jak powers, especially the healing ability.

Quite fun gameplay

Lisa Shea "be the change you wish to see in the world", Amazon
18 December 2004
  • Summary: Jak 3 is the end of the Jak trilogy, and gives Jak and his sidekick Daxter the largest world ever to explore. Jak can now use both Light and Dark eco powers, too! Sure, there are a lot of comparisons between this game and the Ratchet & Clank series. And yes, both are similar in many ways.

Awesome Game!

Amazon
16 November 2004
  • Summary: Jak Three is one of the best games they have released for the Ps2. It's not a copy of Ratchet and Clank which a few people seem to say in thier rewiews. In R and C you get completely different weaponry, and acctually you might say the Ratchet and Clank has copied this game becuase the newest one has...

Decent

Amazon
13 November 2004
  • Summary: So, let's see, i just beat Jak 3 today and I have to say, I found myself lacking that certain special feeling of happiness. When I beat Jak II, I got this overwhelming feeling of confidence. I had beaten a kick-ass platformer. The sequel would be even better...right? Well, not exactly.

A testament to Naughty Dog's skill, it ends the trilogy on a high.

Blank864, Dooyoo
15 April 2010
  • Excerpt: Naughty Dog has an impressive pedigree. Crash Bandicoot and Jak and Daxter have earned well deserved reputations for producing consistent, engaging, even genre-defining quality. This is very evident at the start of each series, as the adventures are fresh to the gaming public - yet as we all know,...

Original story and well worth buying

Dangey2009, Dooyoo
23 February 2010
  • Excerpt: Jak and Jak II were fantastic games so when Jak III was brought out for Playstation 2 I had to get it and I have to say I wasn't disappointed. The series started off with a mute hero and a comical rodent sidekick and has transformed into a dark story about an angry hero and comical rodent trying to...
