Summary: This is a great game, yet nearly impossible. You get 4 guns, powerful Dark Eco attacks, GTA like hijacking abilities, and a steep dive from the original Jak and Daxter, having a modest E rating, now diving to a T rating! Don't know what happened there... Anyway, Jak is no longer a mute, very aggressive, and pretty dang powerul. Great game, overall.
Jak II (PS2): Jak II - Sinister and darker and harder
30 April 2010
Summary: Having played a few Jak and Daxter games and the first Jak game on various consoles I was interested what Jak II would be like when playing on the Playstation 2. I have to say it's changed a bit but fundamentaly and despite a few flaws, I wasn't too disappointed with this game and found it entertaining and fun. In the story in Jak II it starts out two years in the future.
Excerpt: "After the amazing success of Jak and Daxter: The precursor Legacy which sold out of all copies within 3 months 'Naughty Dog' finally popped out the second, darker instalment titled Jak II. As soon as you have the game on you sense a whole new edge to it. Its storyline starts of a lot darker (and continues) to what it originally was in Jak and Daxter, Long gone is the light hearted mute Jak and in his place is an almost evil looking, older version…WHO ...
Excerpt: "Jak II is the sequel to the game Jak And Daxter. It is a great game to follow after an amazing first game. In the game, you play as Jak and sometimes Daxter. In this game, Jak has grown up and has been transported to Haven City. In Haven City, you have to perform many tasks which are very enjoyable. The game takes you around a huge map of places which is enjoyable to see. Jak II is extremely enjoyable and in this game there is more action. The ...
Pros: Great graphics, new storyline, still the same characters
Excerpt: "Jak II is the second game in the Jak & Daxter series. As Jak & Daxter was a huge hit Jak II was created and had high expectations. You are Jak and with the help of Daxter your little ally you have to defeat metal heads before they destroy the world. This time Jak has got dark ego inside him and is evil but is also not evil and on the light side. Gameplay is the same as Jak & Daxter. Roaming around Haven City with nothing on your mind can be ...
Summary: I got this game for christmas 2003 (it is kinda weird because my grandma gets me the Jak and Daxter games every year and I think I am gonna get Jak 3 from her this year) and I had to buy yhe strategy guide just to beat it (it took me forever even with the guide) the bad news is my 5 year old brother got a hold of the game and erased my save file. This game rules and I don't know whether it is a RPG or an adventure/ shooter game. Buy this game it rules!
Summary: this game is exactly like grand theft except for the fact you get four sweet ass guns and a hover board and flying/hovering vehicals to steal also you can turn into a powerful jak and also there is some secrets you can get when you beat the game. like big head, big goatee, and some other stuff. i personly would play this game over any grand theft auto game.

Summary: Jak II is not your average platform game. First of all it uses the open environement idea from GTA to really immerse you into a completely interactive world that you can reak havok in after missions. This environment allows hours of replay value where you can do specific tasks to gain secrets like unlimited ammo.
Summary: Pro's 1)Very lengthy 2)Challenging gameplay. When you beat this, you feel like you've climbed a mountain and lived to tell about it. 3)The missions vary so it doesn't get boring. 4)Great Graphics. 5)Great control Cons 1)Traveling to diff parts of the city to reach a mission is an unbelievable bore and completely unecessary. There was no reason for this game to turn into Grand Theft Auto. 2)Most Vehicles are slow. 3)The music isn't thrilling.
