GameBump
25 July 2008
  • Excerpt: At first glance, Jackass The Game sounds like a terrible idea, but Red Mile did an okay job with it. If you want something stupid and funny, it provides a brief laugh and a short experience of the hilarious antics of the show. As a game, however, it doesn't measure up, and nor does it offer much in the way of longevity.

Jackass: The Game

Digital Chumps
21 March 2008
  • Excerpt: The premise is simple. Jackass is filming a new season when their director is hurt during another of the crew's infamous stunts, so it's your job to step in and make sure the boys make idiots and spectacles of themselves as usual. Can you put together enough broken bones, half-naked dance moves and fart-joke wisecracks to pass in this surprisingly good new installment of Jackass?

Jackass: The Game

Playstation Illustrated
30 January 2008
  • Excerpt: The only thing odder than the idea of a game based on the TV show Jackass is that it has taken this long for someone to actually make it. Although it lives on in reruns and on the shelf at your local Blockbuster, most of the show's crew members have moved on. Jackass: The Game does a good job at capturing the look and feel of the show, though it comes up short on actual gameplay.

Jackass The Game Review

AtomicGamer
18 January 2008
  • Excerpt: It's been years since the MTV show Jackass went off the air, but the success of the two movies and their strong sales on DVD have fueled these sophomoric guys to keep making new stuff. Their latest effort is a PS2 game that tries to channel all their goofiness into some ridiculous mini-games that are so over-the-top compared to other games like this.

PS2 Review - 'Jackass: The Game'

WorthPlaying
17 January 2008
  • Summary: Based on the MTV crazy-stunts-gone-bad-on-purpose show Jackass, Empire Interactive's Jackass: The Game, developed by Sidhe Interactive, features minigames, story mode and all the raunchy, and craziness you come to expect from the TV show, with likeness/voices from the real cast.

Jackass: The Game

The Armchair Empire
7 December 2007
  • Conclusion: building into a giant mass of elephant dung while mugging for the camera all the way down. Since you know it's absurd, even fatally impossible, you find yourself getting into the spirit of abusing the digital bodies of Knoxville , Steve-O, Ryan Dunn, and other members of the Jackass cast, are easily recognizable even if they're a little blocky. The format of the game revolves around the idea of directing a new season's worth of Jackass episodes for MTV.

Jackass: The Game

D+PAD
11 June 2007
  • Excerpt: The rise of the casual gamer has a lot to answer for. A game contrived of mini-games is one thing, but a game contrived of mini-games based on a shallow, albeit fairly amusing TV show is another…

Jackass: The Game PS2 Review

DarkZero
30 November 2007
  • Excerpt: Apart from the second movie that was released last year, there hasn’t really been much Jackass since 2002. It seems a strange time for Empire Interactive to release the game. Usually there’s something to motivate the consumer to buy the license product, be it a movie or a popular TV show running at the time. There’s no denying that Jackass was a big property back in the day and a lot of people still remember the cast and crew.

TV-Schmerzen zum Mitspielen

Gameswelt
15 June 2014
