Summary: I love race games and this one is good. I was expecting to see road courses in this game but there isn't any. All the tracks are oval tracks like you would see in Nascar and Indy is the premier one to win. It is a challenge to race with the cars but thats what racing is about.
Summary: Fantastic game. Fly along 15 different IRL races in a year. Pick up valuable points to finish overall ahead of serious competitors like Helio Castroneves, Sam Hornish Jr., and Gil de Ferran. Any crash can seriously set you back in the race results, just like the real thing.
Summary: I almost didn't buy this game after reading reviews about no steering wheel support. Well my steering wheel works perfectly with it. I have the Logitech EX Racing Wheel. I am so glad I bought it anyway, because it is the very best Indy Car racing game, there is not too much available, so this is it...
Summary: I've only had the chance to play for about 1 hour, but this game is really impressive! Most important, the feel of the driving is excellent. Steering is responsive, and yet stable on the straightaways.
Summary: Codemasters have done an excellent job with their latest racing release for PS2. Indycar Series, released with backing from IRL features it all, the speed, the sound and the action that will make you sweet and leave you craving for more.
Summary: At first this game didn't look too exciting because I usually like Road Racing games like F1, Pro Race Driver, and Cart. But since this game was the first opened wheeled oval tracked car game I decided to buy it. When I did I was amazed. The car graphics were awsome and it was extremely realistic.
Summary: The gameplay is realistic, the graphics are incredible, and the cars really seem like their going 225 mph. The game does support steering wheels, so I would disregard the other reviews. One problem is that there is no rear view mirror in the in-car view.
