Summary: Just bought this game because of the high reviews it got on here, and I was bored of NASCAR games. It's not something you just start playing and you will be the best. The game itself has decent graphics and AI, which many of the other PS2 racing games lack. The game requires precise car control, something that you will get by doing the test challenges.
Summary: Pretty fun game but do find the cards hard to drive not something you can jump in and out of like most racing games. But if you are a big fan of the IRL days have always wanted to vr on tracks like Nashiville, Gateway, and Pikes peak defintly worth the money
Summary: I love race games and this one is good. I was expecting to see road courses in this game but there isn't any. All the tracks are oval tracks like you would see in Nascar and Indy is the premier one to win. It is a challenge to race with the cars but thats what racing is about. You can make adjustments to the car in an attempt to go faster and I'm having fun with it. If you like this type of racing I would definitely reccommend it.
Summary: I almost didn't buy this game after reading reviews about no steering wheel support. Well my steering wheel works perfectly with it. I have the Logitech EX Racing Wheel. I am so glad I bought it anyway, because it is the very best Indy Car racing game, there is not too much available, so this is it for now. The handling of the cars is top notch, very important. The detail can not compare to Gran Tourismo 4, but it is not bad.
Summary: Okay I love Indy racing and I was upset with this game. The graphics on this game just sucks! I have played Formula One games and Nascar games that have more detail that this game has. I would have enjoyed this game a little bit more if they had a camera view on top the car like they do in real Indycar Racing..why that wasn't put in is a mystery. The camera views are so crazy..you have four. the rear..further in the rear, the nose and the cockpit.
Summary: Fantastic game. Fly along 15 different IRL races in a year. Pick up valuable points to finish overall ahead of serious competitors like Helio Castroneves, Sam Hornish Jr., and Gil de Ferran. Any crash can seriously set you back in the race results, just like the real thing. Wind drafting, night races, and great graphics, you gotta try this grame. Truly a dark horse game and just a whole lotta fun! Pleasantly surprised and great replay value.
