Best Hitman game so far!
23 August 2012
Summary: This is my favourite Hitman game so far until the release of Absolution! This provides more accessibility and more options than Contracts and Blood Money, considering that Contracts and Blood Money are still good Hitman games. Lots of weapons, infiltrating restricted areas with disguises, using strategy and methods to evade or eliminate your enemies is what makes Hitman the original and ultimate assassin.
Excerpt: "...time I had played a Hitman game and, having just completed it tonight after owning it for about a year and playing it a bit at a time, I can honestly say that it is a very rewarding gaming experience that would certainly make me want to go out and buy either of the sequels- Blood Money or Contracts. The basic premise is this: you are a genetically designed contract killer who, in the previous game apparently, wiped out all his other fellow clones. ...
Excerpt: "Hitman 2 is one of those games in which anything is truly possible. The player controls the mysterious Mr. 47, an ex-hitman who has been lured back to his old life by ruthless mafia dons who wish to have money from him and have taken 47's best friend, Father Vittorio, hostage. What begins as a seemingly simple mission, killing a mafia don and rescuing Vittorio, rapidly becomes a globe-trotting adventure, where 47 will encounter all types of undesitrable ...
Pros: Open - ended gameplay, good set of weapons, good story
Cons: Harsh difficulty settings near the end of the game
Summary: the 1st ever hitman i bought was this one in 2002 and since then ive been hooked and i now own all 4 of his journeys, and all 4 of his journeys are simply BRILLIANT! but my all time favourit is hitman2: silent assassin just because of those hard packing dual silenced silverballers, and the gameplay's reality to the real world is quite breath taking, this simply deserves 10*'s along with tomb raider legend, hitman contracts and blood money.
Summary: This game pretty much picks up where the earlier one left off . But that is jsut where all the similarity ends. The graphics , gameplay , sound and the overall look and feel of the game has improved. Trigger happy gamers be warned this gmae is not for you. Although you can go gung ho though all the levels , the ultimate goal of the game is to achieve the silent assassin rating !! And this adds to the games replay value .
Summary: It can be very challenging but it's so good. If you love Hitman-like stuff you'll love this. The guns, sound effects, music, graphics, everything about this game is good. Highly recommended. Also check out Contracts and Blood Money. The Hitman series is great.
Excerpt: "...this second installment of the Hitman games, we see 47 at the start as a reformed man, living with a vicar in a church. After going to confession a red car shows up outside and kidnaps his best and only friend leaving a note blackmailing him to do their dirty work. 47 goes to the shed and pulls out his laptop from under the floor boards and calls up his old contact, Diana, asking for her help. For her clients help, 47 must do some tasks for them.... And ...
Pros: Free roaming, You choose how to reach your goal
Summary: Hitman 2 is quite possibly the best game ever on the PS2, its only rivals would be the GTA series. The game play seems a bit difficult at first cos of the analog controls but after a while it becomes instantly addictive and you will find it hard to turn off.
Excerpt: "...to buy Splinter Cell and Hitman 2 at the same time. Splinter Cell because it's, well, the stealth game that was most popular at that time. I had not played any of the hitman games and knew little about it. But anyway one of my friends convinced me to buy that one too. And what a game! The levels on Splinter Cell all looks the same and you go bored after a few hours, but with Hitman the same level can be completed in many different ways. As an example ...
Pros: great graphics, very entertaining, nice sound
Excerpt: "Hitman 2 : Silent Assassin has a fantastic storyline that really helped this game to greatness , it goes like this : agent 47 used to work as a hitman , he has returned to the right road and is best friends with a priest . Afetr he had an official confession that he had sinned . A few days later the priest is kidnapped . 47 gets in touch with his old employers they persuade him to do a few missions in return for the info he wants after few strikes ...
Pros: Better than the original , fantastic weapon selection , every level is interesting
