Summary: What I like about HHB2K is that you don't have to go through a complicated series of button presses and cursor aiming to get a pitch off. I believe this keeps the game fresh and flowing smoothly. The graphics are good (could be better). The play-by-play announcers could use a lot of improvement. They don't really vary in what they say. I would recommend this game to anyone who just wants to play a good game of PS2 baseball and doesn't want to scrutinize every detail.
Summary: The game play for this game is just out of this world. For once the game is just about the sport(in this case baseball). The graphic are much better then what they say but triple play has better. At first even on rookie you have to try ur best to win. But what is great about this game is that you'll be playing it for a long time since is has so many levels of play. I did not rent this game i just bought it and loved it but you might want to rent it first.
Summary: I rented all three PSX2 baseball games. High Heat is thousands of times better than Triple PLay or All Star. Being a baseball STAT maniac, I am always picky on realism of stats. I found out that team stats are correct. In other words, if you trade a player, and receive another, the new player will not change the previous statistics for the team. No other game has that. The only two categories which are not accurate are saves for pitchers and on-base percentages.
Summary: HHBB2002 is the best baseball game that I have ever played. Unfortunatly, it is not the best best baseball game I have ever seen. The review could end here, but I will elaborate. Realistically this game is amazing. If you want to win you had better stay focused for nine innings. Making sure not to make mistakes, and capatilize on oppurtunities. This game is not for people that like and want arcade baseball. Although on the easier settings the game is fairly easy.
