Could have been a LOT better!!

Leo, Amazon

  • Summary: I don't have much to say about this game other than it has the worst possible graphics of all baseball games I've ever played. The gameplay is good, but the graphics is very poor. When I pitch, I like to have a pithcer's camera on, and when you take a look at the catcher, it's pityful.

The Best PS2 Baseball Game To Date!

Nicholas Helfrick, Amazon
1 January 2002
  • Summary: Okay, I know that I will not be the first to say, that if you are looking for graphics or a pretty game, look elsewhere. If you are looking for a solid baseball game that is fast-paced and fun to play, 3DO has hit a home run. From a gameplay aspect, High Heat 2K2 is awesome.

I will never buy another edition of High Heat.

C. L. Stone, Amazon
25 December 2001
  • Summary: I just bought this game because I needed a baseball game for PS2 and I'm a big Guerrero fan. Oh, how I was disappointed. The game play is actually pretty good. I like the fact that there's no cursor for batting.

Could be better. Weak graphics and no joystick control......

Dennis F. Towle, Amazon
11 December 2001
  • Summary: Alot of gamers have praised this baseball simulation for it's gameplay alone. I think the gameplay is well done also, but the graphics looked absolutely horrible....and very choppy animation to go with it!

Fun and easy to play

K. J. Mulla, Amazon
5 November 2001
  • Summary: What I like about HHB2K is that you don't have to go through a complicated series of button presses and cursor aiming to get a pitch off. I believe this keeps the game fresh and flowing smoothly. The graphics are good (could be better). The play-by-play announcers could use a lot of improvement.

  • Summary: This game is awesome. It's gameplay is second to none. There are a few things that need to be fixed, but what game doesn't have that problem.

14 October 2001
  • Summary: This game is really easy to get good at. Took me about one game to beat the computer and my average score is 22 to 0. I pitched a no hitter in the third game, so if u want a more challenging game dont get this one!!!

Could use some improvements

Cameron Roberts, Amazon
5 October 2001
  • Summary: I brought me a copy of high heat baseball and was impressed with it's game play. what was disappointing was the way the game graphic jumped around. As a avid gamer I see that this was probaly a rush title. Most Sports video games are released just before the regular season.
