Survival Horror at its finest, but a little to graphic for the casual gamer

Summary: Haunting ground is a survival horror game that was made for ps2. Visually it is ahead of it's time. I think the cinematic movies are a little corny looking but the actual game play itself looks great. The castle you wonder in is huge and has a very open feel to it. top notch visuals here. Game play is also great. At times it is challenging but overall with common sense, a well trained dog, and a good memory any adult could accomplish this.
Summary: This is a good game for those who like the Resident Evil type of gameplay with puzzles to solve. I still enjoy playing this game and I would certainly recommend it to people looking for a good game. Gameplay is good and the graphs look good. A few things I don't like though are that the Hewie sometimes doesn't obey your commands and you have to get close to him to get it to do what you what and Fiona's boobs don't look real.
Summary: I had never heard of this game before, so I knew nothing about it, but when I read the title and information about the game I was interested and bought it. As soon as it got to me I opened it and began playing. At first I got stuck for days trying to figure out how to play the game, went on the internet for cheat codes and didnt find anything useful. But now I've beaten the game and enjoyed it alot, now my cousin is attempting to complete the game. I love this game!
Summary: This is definately an underrated game that deserved more of a chance than it received. It's very reminiscent of Capcom's other survival horror game Clock Tower 3, it even uses some of the same sound effects. There's not a lot of gore in this game, despite the warning at the beginning, but it is very creepy and atmospheric. The plot is very mysterious and the well made cutscenes really drive you to discover more of the story.
Summary: A fun horror title, for those who have played the greats and are looking to satisfy their horror itch. Easily one of the best looking games on the PS2, with richly detailed environments and fantastic character models. Huey is a great companion, reminding me a lot of Agro from Shadow of the Colossus - a wordless, yet faithful companion, essential to completing your journey. Some basic puzzles, and the story is pretty bland.
Excerpt: Age Rating: 16+ - violence, some disturbing themes. Can be bought new or used for £10+ on ebay.co.uk. Also known as Demento in Japan. There is no multi player function. This is a survival horror game, and we all know how much I love those, so it didn't surprise anyone that I'd started playing this game.
Pros: Scary, good voice acting and graphics . Interesting style of game play . Hewie .
Cons: Some difficulty in hiding, requires patience, somewhat confusing storyline .
Excerpt: I've always enjoyed games in the survival horror genre, despite them giving me countless nightmares when I was younger and I have to say this is one of the scariest. I can't pinpoint the scariest moments in these games exactly, whether it's the location, the environment, or how the controls change depending on the characters fear level.
Excerpt: With games like Resident Evil, horror survival games, in my opinion have taken a turn for the worse. Action depicts Gameplay meaning the ‘horror’ aspect really has been taken out of the game; I mean what has happened to the original ‘scary’ adventures such as Silent Hill and Project Zero? I thought all was lost when quite by accident I stumbled upon ‘Haunting Ground’ a Capcom release for 2005.
Excerpt: This is a bit of a mixture of a game, it has some really good points but it also has a couple of flaws that really detracts from the overall experience which basically leaves you with a very average product. In the game you take on the role of Fiona Belli and you find yourself locked in a cage in the dungeon of a castle.
