Summary: The thing is, you can't change your screen orientation, and so muc learn very quickly how to deal with that, as well as missing some important things (events) if you cant see them, or chasing things down (getting a dog), the game in and of itself is okay, but the area-dependant screen orientation will annoy most people. As a whole, I would not reccomend this game, because, as I say yet again, the scrren orientation is such a problem.
Summary: Ah... I remember this game. It was one of my favorite of the PS2 games. You have around 9 or something endings and you 'save the homeland'. One of the worst things about it is the fact that EVERYONE forgets about you, except your animals. For some odd reason, they still have the exact same friendship, and that big house that you have because you bought repairs to is still there, your crops (if they didn't die because of lack of water or winter) are still there, and you...
Summary: Harvest Moon in general is a fantastic series, ive played every single one, and loved it. But this one comes up short. The game actually has some really awesome features. The characters are! The eligible girls are all really unique with the still harvest moon feel. Every character is just really awesome, and the each of the multiple stories are really cool on their own.
Summary: Save The Homeland is in my opinion the best its the original game, farm life saving the town from destruction i mean what do the others have? I mean i know you can have a family and all that good stuff but the real aim in Save The Homeland is as the title suggests saving your home. Not that A Wonderful life or the others are a bad game on the contrary there all great i just personally would suggest Save The Homeland to anyone who enjoys being on the winning side lol.
Summary: its pretty good you don't get to get to have a family but you can get a job and if you show up at the job you can get a horse for free and if you lose you get to keep everything that you already have.
Summary: I played this game and got so bored with it, so fast. I love the other Harvest Moon games, I like running a farm and raising a farm and family but you dont get to do that on this game. It bored me to tears but on the bright side I do like the fact that you can have a job and make money that way. The characters are nicly made and the music is okay but just my opinion the game isnt really worth spending time on.
Summary: Let me just start out by saying i am sick and tired of people saying natsume rushed the game and made it horrible. This has been said many times, but no one ever pays attention. Natsume ONLY translates the game. They DO NOT make the game. You cannot say the game play itself is bad because of them-they had nothing to do with it. So stop blaming them, your making yourself look stupid. On to the game= This is a great game for harvest moon fans.

Summary: This was my favorite game. I loved it. When I got it, it was my first Harvest Moon. It seemed like the best game ever. That was then... this is now. Once I played the other Harvest Moon games I felt like this game was lacking somethings. Actually, a lot of things. How the heck can you call this a Harvest Moon. It seems as though Natsume rushed this game. I mean, look back at the others, even the PS game was better than this one.
