Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire

Playstation Illustrated
1 October 2007
  • Excerpt: Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire is the fourth installment of the Harry Potter series and is the turning point in the overall story. So does the Goblet of Fire game hold up to this responsibility? As far as the looks of Harry Potter are concerned, the characters, Hogwarts and all of the other locations from the book and movie definitely do the series justice. Characters like Harry, Ron and Hermione are amazingly close representations of the actors from the movie.

  • Summary: Anyone who's a fan of the Harry Potter franchise and for children in particular the game may be worth a purchase but for those who are looking at it wondering if it'll offer a bit of fun then you're better off going for a rental as it's not an overly long game and will likely not fulfil you considering the £34.99 RRP.

  • Excerpt: This is the setting for the fourth installment in the Harry Potter saga, which has recently jumped off the pages of J. K. Rowling's best selling novel and into the movie theatres. Not unlike its predecessors, Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire is being adapted for almost every type of media imaginable. The joint release of EA's game and Warner Brothers movie means HP: GOF is a videogame, based on a movie, which is based on a book.

  • Pros: Play three-player co-op, fun for the younger gamers among us
  • Cons: Can't switch between characters in-game like previous versions, repetative spell commands will drive you mad

Harry Potter et la Coupe de feu

Game-Focus
