Big Brain Academy: Wii Degree review (WII)

HonestGamers
10 July 2007
  • Excerpt: It's hard to find a title explicitly set on teaching that players will want to get better at and that everyone in the family can enjoy together.

.hack Part 3: OUTBREAK

swapgame
21 June 2005
  • Excerpt: The .hack saga from Bandai, though split into four separate RPG offerings, is essentially one massive adventure that sees players take up the role of Kite as he enters his own MMORPG to discover the mysteries of how a massively multi-player epic called The World is affecting its players in real life. Many questions were raised Part 1, some were answered in Part 2, but the quest is still wide open as we get to grips with .hack Part 3.

.hack Part 3: Outbreak Review

GameSpot
8 September 2003
  • Excerpt: Sometimes a once-promising video game series starts going downhill. The gameplay, concept, characters, graphics, and sound begin failing to impress as they once did. Bandai's .hack (pronounced "dot hack") series isn't anything unusual in this regard--though since its installments are being released just three months apart, it's technically going downhill faster than is normal.

  • Excerpt: You are Kite, and you are not having the best of days. You were just brought into “The World” to enjoy some MMORPG fantasy swords and sorcery style with your pal Orca (who may or may not be related to that OTHER female Orca from (dot)hack//DUSK) when he is “data drained” by a weird red wand carrying creature.

  • Pros: Geniale Story, Japanische Tonspur
  • Cons: Wiederholendes Leveldesign, Nur für Kenner der anderen Teile, Hätte auch in 2 Teile gepasst, Abzocke
