Gungrave

Playstation Illustrated
5 January 2005
  • Excerpt: Graphics are about all that Gungrave has going for it. If Anime looked this good, I wouldn't stop watching it. Unfortunately, that's about all you can do in this game; watch it. It carries a heavily animated feel to it, even during the actual gameplay. Characters and backgrounds are almost indiscernible from each other, and a healthy portion of the scenery is alterable.

Gungrave

Into Liquid Sky
22 November 2004
  • Excerpt: Few games have been known purely as an action game. With so many genres meshing together, it's sometimes fun to just pop in an action game and not having to worry about finding some hidden key to open a door and finding a magical crest. Instead, Gungrave offers straight-up action any time you want it.
  • Pros: Stylish and very fun to play, Great art and character design, Good music that fits the mood, The price is right (20 dollars)
  • Cons: Can get repetitive, Very short game

Defunct Games
25 October 2002
  • Summary: Like the Rock, Con Air, and countless other action movies, Sega's newest action game is loud, violent, and exciting, but lacks depth. But is that all bad? Can style make up for substance? In this case it all depends on how often you frequented arcades as a kid. This product was submitted by the publisher for review. As a rule, Defunct Games does not review games we spent money on. However, that does not always apply to classic/retro games.

GunGrave O.D.

JeuxVideo.fr
4 January 2005
