Summary: This game is relatively fun for a short time at first, but after a few times playing it, it begins to drag on a bit. I have this game for ps2, and i still sometimes play it just for fun, but most of this game is not exactly fun. I'm 14 years old, and I am okay with Aerosmith, but I'm not the biggest fan of them in the world. Anyway, this game is best for easy, medium, and some hard players but not for the true guitar hero players that play well on expert, like myself.
It's okay but i wouldn't go out of your way to buy it.

Excerpt: This game is great the first time you play it but unless your really enthusiastic, i would say this game is more of a novelty game that becomes tiresome after a few 'bashes'. A quality game if you have friends over or have somebody to play with, but on your own you just look like a bit of an idiot standing there holding a plastic guitar and tapping buttons. The choice of songs on this game are really good and thats one of the best things about it.
Summary: Now under new owners the re-vamped Guitar hero see's the franchise reach new heights & doubtless more new fans with this latest release. The graphics are way slicker than before with the axe wielders looking more fluid & realistic. So too the sense of realism is increased as real life legends take to the stage to challenge you as bosses!
Summary: After two succesfull Guitar Hero games,"Guitar Hero Encore : Rock The 80s" was released in July 2007 exclusively for the PS2 and receved mixed reactions from fans of the serie. This Guitar Hero title seems to be too much of a "cash grab" for fans of the series as the other games in the serie had more songs,8 levels of difficulty(im not talking easy, medium, hard and veteran here) and "Rock The 80s" has only six with only 30 songs and limited unlockables.
Overall the game can be described as a whole lot of fun but the novelty may disapear quickly. 6/10

Excerpt: If you are anything like me you must have seen your favourite band live or on TV and just thought to yourself "I wish I could play the guitar", earn lots of money and live a rock and roll life style. Well now you can (at least pretend) to do one of three. In fact if you are a well paid professional with a drinking problem you can do all three. Just remember you can't do your pete townsend impression with this guitar controller like you can with your trusty air guitar.
