Summary: I liked the idea of having the 'best' of the GH games on one game. We bought this and Band Hero and have only played it a time or two. There are a few good songs but we choose band hero over this game more often because the songs are better known for guests/friends to play and sing too.
Summary: This game is amazing. Has very amazing songs. Like, Beast And The Harlot - Avenged Sevenfold, Cowboys From Helll - Pantera, Raining Blood - Slayer, Miss Murder - AFI, The Trooper - Iron Maiden, Caught In A Mosh - Anthrax, Laid To Rest - Lamb Of God. AMAZING. Beast And The Harlot is my personal favorite.
Summary: This game does have some of the best songs on gh but for some reason it has some of the worst. I was very angry with it not haveing alot of my favorite songs (iron man dream on). If you dont have the drums and mic just buy gh 123 80's and aerosmith and you will be very satisfied. If you think you can get a 100% on your favorite songs still you are wrong (unless you are the true god of gh but i know your not..) because they changed alot of notes in the songs.
Summary: Have you been playing GH for quite a few years now? Are you just getting into the GH/RB phenom, and are wondering what fun you've been missing? Ever want to play the funnest GH hits with a full band, to sing along with, or in "Uncomplicated Multiplayer?" Play this today, then. While some guitar charts are changed, it's generally in ways that make the songs funner to play, and everything that made them fun to begin with is still there.
Summary: Well, at least so goes the lyrics to Stone Temple Pilot's "Trippin on a Paper Heart" which not so un-coincidentally appears in this very game as a playable track. Too bad the makers of this particular installment did not heed Weiland's words. I bought this game near the release date on the very basis of a few choice cuts, particularly Ratt's "Round and Round" and Ozzy's "Bark at the Moon". Nowhere is the phrase 'Hammer-on Hero' no more appropo then on these very tracks.
Summary: I didnt buy this game on Amazon i bought it at game stop because I only had cash but it was the same price. The game is a good music game but there is some ups and some downs. The pros of this game is the music is their favorite songs from all the Guitar Heros from 1 to Aerosmith I think. I really loved the feature where you get to make your own custom instruments like guitars on career mode.
Summary: Most professional reviews of this game say this is a decent game but too much of a rehash. I can't say I agree. Obviously, there's the fact that bass, drums, and vocals are now supported, but there are even improvements on guitar. Some of the songs were originally released as covers and now we get all the original tracks. Additionally, the charts were redone allowing for some of the World Tour innovations like slider notes and extended sustains.
Summary: this game rocks it has some of the best songs ever. and you can play with the whole band the graphics are like world tour and metallica but not to bad if you liked a lot of songs from guitar hero 1 through 3 i completely recommend this game!!!! They even let you add vocals and it not count as another player in multiplayer.and im a fan of aerosmith so i was a little frustrated when there was only one gh aerosmith song but whatever.but they did get rid of the recording...
Summary: Bought this game as a farewell of sorts since I don't see myself lasting with GH/RB past this title. It's got pretty much every great song you can think of from the past GH games if you're a long time GH player. The older charts have been updated to be either easier or more difficult and its all for the better. Along with the arpeggio sections added in GH:WT, this one makes very strong use of ringing notes.
