Guitar Hero III: Legends of Rock (PS2): Guitar Hero 3: Legends of Rock
29 February 2012
Summary: After playing the other games within the Guitar Hero brand and becoming pretty good at playing it on the Guitar Hero controller, I had to buy the new game when it came out, otherwise it's just pretty much of a waste of this new skill I'd acquired! The game lived up to it's expectations that I had of it and definitely has made some improvements from the previous in the series with even more great song titles to pick from.
Pros: Great songs, improved from previous games, easy controls
Cons: Some may find controls difficult at first, need another guitar for co-op
Summary: Xmas pressie for my 9 yr son - I wasn't sure if he would like it - he is musical, plays the violin. However, all my fears were in vain - he absoutly loves it and so do all the family - made xmas day everyone had a go! He now wants the band for his birthday!!
Summary: Very good, it makes a brilliant pressie and is very fun. Most of the songs are heavy metal classics from the 60's,70's,80's and a few from the 90's.On the easy mode it is very easy but if you are doing the hard mode it is a masive challenge. The game is about your band playing gigs all around the world and if you do well you can be living in fame. Also if you performe well you can get encores ang sponsers and rocking contracts.
Great fun for rock enthusiasts - not a family entertainment

Summary: This is a great value product. I love the wireless guitar. It is easy to set up and convenient to store when you don't need it. And you can rock all around your living room. It is a great game for those who like music games, have a good sense of rhythm and are familiar with following the coloured notes on the screen. Requires quite a lot of manual skill and I don't think it is suitable for a whole family.
Guitar Hero III: Legends of Rock (PS2): Guitar Hero 3- Better But Still The Same
25 May 2009
Summary: Guitar Hero 3 is a great addition to the Guitar Hero series. It features some great songs by awesome artists and introduces a few new features to keep boredom from your doorstep. You all know the story about Guitar Hero now, big Guitar Shaped controller , press coloured buttons and strum as they appear on screen. Encores from the Guitar Hero 2 are back and better than ever, included are songs such Paint It Black by the Stones or Welcome To The Jungle by Guns N Roses.
Summary: I now have a new found admiration for Axl Rose and other rock guitarists. Great fun - especially for the first few days when you can beat your 11yr old son, after that the novelty wears off a bit as they get the hang of the game and beat you every time - even when you're still on the easy level and they're playing like Hendrix. Banning them from having any sugar for a day or two slows kids down though - try it you might win again.
