Excerpt: Growlanser Generations contains both Growlanser II: The Sense of Justice and Growlanser III: The Dual Darkness . Each game is rather independent of the other, so it matters not which of the games players start with.
Excerpt: Each battle can be beaten with Mission Clear or Mission Complete (or getting game over, of course). Complete is the desired outcome. To get Complete, you generally need to destroy all the enemies and prevent the death of any of your characters or civilians. This can be particularly difficult in some missions, but the "try, try again" motto applies here.
Excerpt: Most people who have played a game localized by Working Designs realize one significant thing. That they are playing a labor of love. That the people that brought the game to you really cared about their product. Growlanser Generations is no different.
Conclusion: Both games really do excel in replay value, which is something that has been stressed throughout this entire review. Both games can be replayed almost countless times because of the ability to alter the game’s story progression, and there are just so many options available. The main character’s entire personality can be shaped differently, different relationships can be forged, different revelations can be presented, and different endings can be attained.
I begge spillene møter man samme grafikk, spillestil osv. Man kan gjerne si at spillene er veldig homogene med ett unntak og det er verdenskartet.
Pros: Kontroll over karakterer, Genialt men enkelt kampsystem, God storyline
