Grand Theft Auto: Vice City (PS2): Let down
19 March 2012
Summary: Grand Theft Auto Vice City is 6th installment in the GTA franchise, and the direct follow up to Grand Theft Auto 3, although this game includes almost no, if any, references to GTA 3, and in fact is set in the eighties, in a different city, Vice City, and includes completely different characters.
Summary: When I had bought this game, I had thought it was going to be good. But problems did occur. When I was getting the package, it did feel like it was taking too long to get where I was, and the royal mail in my area had problems sending it, in that they could not find any stamp. When I got the game however, though it worked fine for a couple of minutes, it froze in that the disk had problems.
Excerpt: "******* RECENTLY UPDATED ******** GTA:San Andreas is now out and far better, I'd reccomend alot more than this game, I'd also reccomend GTAIII over this game. ***************************************** This is one of the best games I have ever played. I had to admit after playing GTAIII I thought that Rockstar games couldn't get any better, but boy was I wrong. To start the game has incredible cut-scenes, (the little films before missions ...
Excerpt: "I can't believe that Rockstar would create such a bad game after GTA3, they have just changed the clothes, bought a new level in and then added some bikes, there may be other things but they are not really big enough to make VC its own game. When i first got this game i was hoping for a good story, gameplay, new weapons and a game that would last, i did not. The weapons are boring, the story is crap and the lastability is short. It is more of an add-on ...
Grand Theft Auto: Vice City (PS2): A disappointing anti-climax.
20 November 2002
Summary: The most eagerly awaited game for the PS2 has finally arrived. Thankfully the initial loading time is a one off, there is loading during the game, for example when you enter certain buildings, but it's not too bad. The cut-scenes when you get a new mission seem to have been extended over those in GTA3, but the only gripe here is that some bits you can't skip, which you'd want to if you were replaying the mission, but thankfully most can be skipped.
Pros: Graphics are good, Lots to do, Extras like the stadium events
Cons: Controls of main character, Targeting, Weapons and their sounds
Summary: Ich finde GTA VICE CITY schlecht, denn man spielt in einer aufgeweckten und hellen Welt!
