The Grand Theft Auto: Vice City Stories features Playstation game which is developed by Rockstar Leeds in association with Rockstar North. It offers core gameplay which consists of elements of a third-person shooter and a driving game, producing a large, open environment for characters to move around. The player’s character is said to be able to walk, run, swim and jump, as well as utilize weapons and basic hand to hand combat while on foot. In addition to this, the open, non-linear environment allows players to explore and the freedom to choose the way they play the game. The game requires players to conduct businesses such as protection racket, prostitution, loan shark, drugs, smuggling or robbery to earn money. The Grand Theft Auto: Vice City Stories features characters Phil Cassidy, Ricardo Diaz, Lance Vance and Umberto Robina. In addition to this, characters from The Opie and Anthony Show and a cameo appearance by Phil Collins provide additional characters role to the game. There are also new gangs making a debut in this game which include the Trailer Park Mafia, the Cholos, the Stallionz and the Mendez Brothers. Weapons in this game feature Scorpion with the same function at TEC-9, M16 gun, Beretta M9 pistol, Ak-47, the M249 light machine gun and rocket laucher modeled after the M72 LAW which comes with a centerpoint-crosshair. In addition to this, weapons such as land mines and tear gas can be obtained with cheat devices.
