Grand Theft Auto 3

Thunderbolt Games
1 April 2008
  • Excerpt: Our protagonist – Claude, Fido, Nameless; whatever you want to call him – has a serious problem. Betrayed, shot and left for dead after a successful robbery by his megalomaniac, power-hungry girlfriend Catalina, he finds himself in the back of an armoured police van en route for a lengthy stay, care of Liberty City’s trigger-happy, donut-munching finest. Yet, despite the dire circumstances it would seem Lady Luck has not abandoned him entirely just yet.

  • Excerpt: Chalk it up either to the success of adult-oriented TV fare like The Sopranos or maybe a nation distracted by bio-terrorism and far-flung warfare. But either way, the fact that a title as morally depraved Grand Theft Auto III has slipped below the radar of hysterical Midwestern moms and broomstick-up-their-butts senators is almost as remarkable as the game itself.
