Summary: This game is very old and crappy. When you're driving in a car and want to turn the car spins out and you fall back to last place. You can tell that the people who made it cut corners and didnt take their time. If you collect racing games or something like that, get it. But, if youre just a casual gamer, dont waste your money.
Summary: This game is very challenging. Although the cars are very realistic and the graphics are elxellent the gameplay is very challenging. There are many cars but its hard to control. Only get this game if its really inexpensive.
Summary: I picked this up hoping to have a great racing game. I had heard great reviews about and figured since it was $20, why not buy it? I was wrong. I first started with simulation mode. I bought my car and found out it took too long to buy better parts or a different car. Plus the races were very challenging. I finally got better cars, souped them up and raced them, but I still was having problems on turns and things like that.
Summary: I've bought this game after reading a review in a magazine. I thought i'd give it a try. So Ok, the graphics are great, good sound, and nice controls. I liked it at the beginning, but then it gets really boring. It'll take you ages to upgrade to a proper car, and if you do, try and think of managing to drive it. It is a nightmare to get a fast car and win an tournament for instance.
Summary: This game is hilarious ! it is like driving an old astra around in the streets / countryside , or driving your car down the road . it is so uncanny , how did they perfect the experience , and you can choose between many cars so you can drive almost any clapped out 1.4 litre car you like .a bit like driving around all day in a small engined car and you dont spend any petrol .If you are looking for a speedy skillful race game , there are better games ...
Excerpt: "...it should be understood that Gran Tourismo A Spec is simply not for everyone. I played the original Gran Tourismo on PS1 and thought pretty much the same about this as I did about that one. One step at a time though. 1) GT1 set the standard for all driving games in terms of graphics. GT3 keeps up this tradition with stunning realism, not just in what I call the full impact graphics (those most obvious) but also in the small details. For example, ...
Summary: Reading the reviews that some people have posted here would make you think that a) this games good b) this is an accurate simulation c) fantastic in the eye candy department For these peoples information and you the reader ....... ITS NOT. This is game is as the title suggests yet ANOTHER sequel of a game that should have called it quits after the first game. The original Gran Turismo on the playstation was boundary breaking and fantastic fun to play.
Summary: It seems to me as though that is what the playstation 2 is all about...Hype! and GT3 is no exception. This games is a carbon copy of the other two when broken down. The only things that are different are two tracks, slower game speed (my mum can drive faster), and the graphics. I admit the Graphics are amazing when viewed in replay but when playing there not breathtaking!... My advice would be to only buy this game if your a dedicated racing fan..
Summary: The graphics are unpolished and seem rough around the edges, and isn't a great deal different from previous incarnations, just fewer cars. If you only have a PS2, then I suppose you'll have to buy this. If possible, I suggest you get hold of a copy of Metropolis Street Racer for DC. It makes GT3 look like the rushed garbage it is. MSR may only have about 50 cars, but it's an absolutely awesome game!
