Summary: I bought the game new because I wasn't sure what condition it would be in buying it used online. The product was described as being new, but the copy I got was a shrink rapped copy. The manual had dents, the box had a gash in it, and the disk had a scratch. The game plays well. This product should have been listed as complete but used. The complete but used value of this game is between $25-$30. I paid the price of what it should be completely new.
Summary: Being a fan oh the old arcade serious, this game definitely delivers. You are given more levels, more weapons and more tools to work with. If you're a fan of the original series, you'll like this one.
Summary: Excellent game for those who played the previous games of Gradius. This is a must have game for those who are a fan of it. The graphics is sweet. The game play is excellent. And the stages are very tricky and long.
Summary: The game has everything that made Gradius great, from option use, to huge bosses, to tough challenge. The only flaw is that there is an annoying cutscenes that you can't skip in the second stage!
Summary: Like all of it's predacessors, the last installment of the original Gradius series must not be missed. The gameplay is the same except for one new firing option, now you can shoot whatever direction you want while stationary! I don't know if any of the music has changed, but after searching for this game for 2 years I finally get to experience it. It still confuses me that Konami hasn't put this up on the Xbox Live marketplace.
Summary: LET IT BE KNOWN THAT THIS GRADIUS IS TEH BEST!!!!!111!1!!11!!!one!!1! Out of all the games in the gradius series, I personally rate this one the best of the series with gradius gaiden as a very close second. The game functions like an arcade where it has x amount of credits to get through the game. It starts at 3 credits but you will gain an extra credit for every hour of gameplay you accumulate through your total play time via saves.
