Summary: if you never played Gradius before be prepared for extreme ownage to your ship Vic Viper T301. After watching tons of youtube vidoes with players owning this I game I finally decided to get it. I'm a fan of gradius games but I never expected it to be as hard as it is.
Summary: many gradius games don't offer you unlockable things like infinite credits , power up weapons etc. buy this game it helps where you can set the option on your checkpoint you can set the controls in where you keep playing without starting at a checkpoint by doing so you have to highlight revival on...
Summary: Cool weapons, rousing and upbeat pseudotechno musical score, and a difficulty level that will make you cry. Definitely a must own title for side scroller fans and newcomers alike. You WILL NOT be disapointed with this game.
Summary: LET IT BE KNOWN THAT THIS GRADIUS IS TEH BEST!!!!!111!1!!11!!!one!!1! Out of all the games in the gradius series, I personally rate this one the best of the series with gradius gaiden as a very close second. The game functions like an arcade where it has x amount of credits to get through the game.
Summary: Graphics are stellar. Most odjects are 3D drawn for a 2D game. The play is excellent, but hard. However after every hour you play it adds more lives until free play is unlocked. If you like 2D shooters this game is a must.
Summary: This is, hands down, one of the best shooters on the PS2 alongside with R-Type: Final. It has dazzling graphics, tight control, explosive sounds, and man is this game tough. For a starter, this game will beat you. But as you keep playing, it will reward you so you can keep on playing.
Summary: I love classic shooters. You know, like R-Type, Thunder Force, and all that stuff. Gradius, however, i've never really liked. The only one that ever held my interest was Gradius Gaiden, and even then, I never put it up on the same level as modern classics as Radiant Silvergun and R-Type Delta.
