Poor graphics, clunky mini-games...a step down from the Gamecube game
24 December 2013
Summary: Destroy All Monsters Melee not only has better graphics, but they don't have those lame mini-games (Monster Bowling?! Please). They have more monsters, yes, but the controls feel a lot clunkier for some reason. The main story had not changed at all, nor have many of the maps. Overall, it's a disappointment. It's not horrible, but this game series took a step back when should have taken a step forward.
Summary: to be honest, playing a game that involves fighting is no fun when the characters are slow, the attacks take more time than they should, and getting up after a fall also takes more time than it should. the story mode was really bad because all you did is beat the monsters and when you got a high score is when you unlock them. there are a lot of monsters once you unlock them all, though. there is not much to do when your done with the game.
