Summary: Best Godzilla game ever. Has just about every monster in every Godzilla movie except for King Kong - which is a Universal property. Back to the game, every monster has their own set of moves, environments are full destructible, you can brawl with up to 3 other monsters....this game is simply AWESOME! One of the best fighting games ever released on PS2 and definitely one of the most underrated.
Summary: I have an 8 year old who is obsessed with Godzilla. We had a wii game that looks almost identical and was much more recent. But he found out abuot this, and sadly that we had an old PS2. So we got him this and he's love it! Overall, for a basic monster fight game, it's pretty fun. There are many monsters, lots of ways to play and he loves it. I think that makes this a good solid game.

Poor graphics, clunky mini-games...a step down from the Gamecube game
24 December 2013
Summary: Destroy All Monsters Melee not only has better graphics, but they don't have those lame mini-games (Monster Bowling?! Please). They have more monsters, yes, but the controls feel a lot clunkier for some reason. The main story had not changed at all, nor have many of the maps. Overall, it's a disappointment. It's not horrible, but this game series took a step back when should have taken a step forward.
