Excerpt: The idea behind 3DO's latest action game, GoDai: Elemental Force, is definitely noble. It bears shades of classic ninja action games (think Legend of Kage) and more than a healthy dose of Hong Kong martial-arts/fantasy aesthetics. But its execution, sadly, is terribly flawed, and as a result, the game is barely playable.
Excerpt: Since I can't bring myself to come up with some witty, thought-provoking intro, I'm just going to come right out and say it - GoDai is a bad looking game. From the poorly done cinemas to the blocky, cluttered levels, GoDai just screams 'rush job'. Every level is a cluttered mess of flat, muddy, lifeless textures and blocky characters who all look alike, reducing it to little more than a PSOne game with a higher polygon count.
