Summary: I like this game but like the first one and the psp series better, haven't played it fully so hoping the storyline gets better other than that it's in perfect condition for a second hand game, disc looks almost new :)
Summary: Great game. Really exciting & thrilling if you're already a fan of Greek mythology. Kratos is a horrible man/god who sets out on the seemingly impossible quest of destroying the ancient Greek pantheon.
Excerpt: Another great game, the story is that after killing ares the good of war, Kratos becomes the new god of war after killing loads of people Zeus kills Kratos. After being killed again he gets out of hell again yes again. After that Kratos is going to go to the sister of fate to turn back time and kill Zeus using the titans he talked to while he was in hell.
Excerpt: The first God of War game was a great action game and this sequel is equally as good. It doesn't try too hard to change what was already a great formula. It tries to refine everything from the original game. In the first game it focused on Greek mythology and a powerful Spartan soldier named Kratos who found himself tangled up in the godly drama after selling his soul to Ares, the God of War, in exchange for victory in battle.
Summary: GOW 2 is a fantastic follow up to GOW. The graphics are improved slightly, so still look fantastic. The gameplay is essentially the same, but the moves are different and there are loads of new weapons and upgrades. The story is good and the game world is excellent. Starts of strongly fighting the Collosssus! Well worth picking up.
Summary: This is the sequel to the excellent God of War, and at the start of this sequel, we find Kratos using his new found powers as a God to the extreme. The other Gods are becoming afraid of what he might do, and at the very start of the game, Kratos is reduced to being a mere mortal by Athena. The initial part of the game sees Kratos being pursued by a huge statue that has been brought to life by the Gods, in an attempt to kill him.
Summary: This is an unapoligetically over the top, ridiculous arcade frenzy of a game, and more or less ends the debate on PS2 entertainment. As long as you like deliriously opulent visuals, Ben-Hur classical soundtracks and stupendous (comic) levels of violence then I'd say you have no other choice! It's a small improvement over the original God of War but doesn't really alter much at all.
Summary: This game is great: visually stunning with engaging gameplay. The character is always impressive by being utterly ruthless and brutal. All the other reviwews will say pretty much the same thing. Therefore all I need to add is that I am actually somewhat disappointed. Somehow, after the brilliance of the original God Of War, I was expecting more.
