If all on Olympus will deny me vengeance, then all of Olympus will die.

Summary: Before the review I have this to say, I know for God Of War Chains Of Olympus I put a quote for the headline. I also did for God Of War but they took it off for some reason. So the quote that was supposed to be the heading was "God Of War, I haven't forgotten you. For what you did that night, this city will be your grave." Now on to the review of God Of War 2. It was a game that wrapped itself around its combat, not its storyline.
Summary: I was actually disappointed with this game. I started playing it and I was like "oh, this could be fun", but it ended up being the same game with a different story. There are a few more moves, but they are generally the same. There are a couple new types of magic that replace a couple of the old ones, but generally they're the same as well. The story was the only thing that compelled me to play the game to the end.
Summary: God of War II is a well crafted game. There's more weapons than the first game and new magic attacks. Two additional weapons to use during the game. Upgradeable. The action is pretty cool too. I wouldn't say that this one is as good as the first but is still worth buying. It has better replay value than the first. Theres more to do after you beat the game. Graphics are still very cool for PS2's time. Overall it's a good game.
Summary: I bought this game because the first one kicked major a$$ and is pretty much the best game for the PS1, next to Final Fantasy and such. I like the game play and how much of best qualities of the 1st was rolled into the 2nd. The only part I didn't really like was the reduction of the amount of enemies and the shortness of the game as a whole. The game still kept me enjoyed and I would still recommend it for any fan of good quality gaming.
Summary: I like this game but like the first one and the psp series better, haven't played it fully so hoping the storyline gets better other than that it's in perfect condition for a second hand game, disc looks almost new :)
Summary: Great game. Really exciting & thrilling if you're already a fan of Greek mythology. Kratos is a horrible man/god who sets out on the seemingly impossible quest of destroying the ancient Greek pantheon.
God of War II (PS2): God of war 2, Sisters of fate challenge
30 May 2010
Summary: Another great game, the story is that after killing ares the good of war, Kratos becomes the new god of war after killing loads of people Zeus kills Kratos. After being killed again he gets out of hell again yes again. After that Kratos is going to go to the sister of fate to turn back time and kill Zeus using the titans he talked to while he was in hell.
Summary: The first God of War game was a great action game and this sequel is equally as good. It doesn't try too hard to change what was already a great formula. It tries to refine everything from the original game. In the first game it focused on Greek mythology and a powerful Spartan soldier named Kratos who found himself tangled up in the godly drama after selling his soul to Ares, the God of War, in exchange for victory in battle.
