Excerpt: I bought this game as I had read countless reviews of it being a great game. However I was disappionted. First of all the graphics are poor with many jaged edges and plain boring level design. The gameplay is repeatitive, as all you do is kill waves of enemies for about 90 percent of the levels.
Pros: lots of levels and unlockables and is a buget game
Cons: repetitive gamplay, no story and poor design
Excerpt: Reaching #1 in play.com's PS2 sales chart was the defining point in Global Defence Force's unlikely success story. Released as a £9.99 budget title in 2007, GDF was virtually unheard of outside of Japan, and this was evident by the lack of coverage it received in the media and the general scarcity...
Pros: Blasting on a ridiculous scale, massive array of weapons, big landscapes, 71 levels
Summary: i knew this game was cheap, had poor graphics and low production values before i bought it.but if the gameplay is good that doesn't matter to me. the problem with this game though is the atrocious slowdown. in some games it doesn't matter, but in a no-holds-barred shooter it is frankly unforgiveable.

Summary: Good game but perhaps slightly overrated as a cult classic. Graphics were decent for their time but not outstanding. It just felt slightly cheap to be honest. Not a premium gaming experience (for the time!!)

Summary: I only just got this game as it was much lauded but I've fallen for that before on a few occasions but this is great, you run or fly round city streets etc. and blow up huge bugs, nuff said,it comes across as a budget version of a less complex Gun Valkyrie only with the ability to upgrade due to being...
